Playstation is releasing a "Pro" version of the PS5 at the same time PS5 releases.

Hello.

I am not going to disclose who I am, for obvious reasons. I know a lot of you are very displeased with how Sony is managing their marketing at the moment, but all of this has been done deliberately and intentionally. All of this "backlash", if you will, and controversy was meticulously planned and expected.

Sony is masterful in their marketing tactics, you just don't know it yet. The PS5 "reveal" video that was released a few days ago got 13 million views in a couple of days. Sony knows this system they revealed is not as powerful as the Xbox Series X. They WANT you to be disappointed and lower your expectations, only so they can drop the mic in a few months when they reveal the REAL Playstation 5. You might be thinking that the "Road to Playstation 5" video was actually intended for developers. It was not. It was intended for the mainstream audience. Sony wanted to release this video to gain traction, and it sure as hell did. Everyone is discussing how the Playstation 5 is inferior in raw power to the Xbox Series X. They want people's expectations to go down a little bit, only to be blown away once the actual reveal happens. It is quite masterful, and it will be on every headline for days.

In May (or June at the latest), Sony will hold another press conference. In this press conference, they are going to announce a "Pro" version of the Playstation 5 to release at the same time the base model is releasing. This has been previously and accurately leaked by legitimate journalist, Zenji Nishikawa. Microsoft is going the same route, but they are going to be unveiling a "weaker" system, codenamed Lockhart (and no, it has not been canceled). When Microsoft reveals Lockhart, nobody will bat an eye. The system is only 10% more powerful than the Xbox One X (but does support ray tracing). Sony will use this to their advantage and reveal the Pro version of the Playstation 5.

People are going to lose their minds, and all the attention will be on Sony, once again. I know this might be difficult to believe, and some of you might call me a troll. But just wait until May/June comes around. You will not be disappointed. I am not revealing the full specifications, as I am not entirely sure what they are at the moment. I know most people here care about teraflops, as you believe it is the defining factor in a console. It is NOT. But let's just say that number is..............very impressive.

I am only disclosing this information at the moment, and I am not answering any questions. Don't bother DM'ing me.

Goodbye.
