Any leaks involving Kane and lynch 3?

Both 1 and 2 were quite controversial and unique IPs, especially with 2s multiplayer mode. The storyline ended on a cliffhanger with both characters alive, I see no reason as to why there shouldn’t be a Kane and lynch 3

Sony is developing an Uncharted 5

The game will serve as a soft reboot that will still take place in the same Uncharted universe but we will see Sam and Cassie Drake as the two playable characters. The planned release is Spring 2022.

Battlefield 2021 ISN'T Bad Company 3

So, before I continue writing I just wanted to make note that I am trying to acquire some harder sources and evidence to attach within this post at a date further down the line (hopefully in the coming week). Also apologies, english isn't my first language so I'm trying to write this as properly as possible so excuse any errors. Thank you.

This information comes from a recent freelance post I did, as a designer (don't want to make my job role specific incase I harm my career down the line with revealing information and what not) for a digital design agency local to me (Europe). During the time at this position, two of my coworkers were ex DICE employees, both leaving a year ago, and 3 months ago respectively. They left, apparently, not on good terms and were more willing to share their info.

So, development for BF 2021 started around 2 years ago, before BFV shipped. DICE had had both game concepts, 2021 and BFV, in early production at roughly the same time, with BFV starting before BF1 released. The initial idea was that the 2021 concept, which I'll go into in this post, would release in 2018, with the World War 2 setting being the 2021 release. However, DICE found the WW2 setting was easier to flesh out earlier down the line as the team could build on what they know from previous ww2 BF games, and from recent experience developing BF1 (WW1). The 2021 games concept and setting etc., needed a lot more time to be worked on and fleshed out, much longer needed than for BFV. EA made it clear that they had to have a 2018 Battlefield release to please shareholders and so they asked DICE to hurry BFV into development. This explained the relatively poor launch that BFV had, as a lot of development was rushed into production to hit 2018.

This is where 2021 comes in. While BFV was in late production, development on BF 2021 began. Leaks late last year, and earlier this year stated that this game, was infact, Battlefield: Bad Company 3, and those leaks for the most part were TRUE. During early development, DICE had the full intention of making this a Bad Company sequel. They actually dedicated a team to dig through the development of Bad Company 2 as EA and DICE were worried they wouldn't be able to replicate what made that game so beloved. As development furthered along, DICE started to hit a number of issues, namely that the game didn't feel like a Bad Company game, and that they couldn't get the voice actors, writers, or lead multiplayer designers back or to consult on Bad Company 3. After this, they decided to shut down production, and rework what they had developed so far into a new title. They scrapped the Bad Company idea in March/April 2019. This is why DICE have decided not to release a BF game next year.

To go into more detail about BF 2021. The game returns the series to the modern setting, being set apparently in 2030, and will feature a focus on near-future, though realistic technology. This includes drones, robotics, AI etc. Now I don't know much about the campaign or narrative, but I do know they're ditching the whole war stories set-up with this game, to tell a story more like BF3 and BF4.

In terms of multiplayer, the game will bring back a revised version of Levolution, which will require more effort to trigger, compared to BF4 where just one player could activate an event. Levolution this time round is designed to be more tactical and can vary from game to game. It's less of a scripted event, more of different actions the team has to take that can result in different outcomes. On the topic of destruction, it has been majorly improved thanks to next-gen capabilities, bullets realistically penetrate walls depending on material, leaving actual bullet holes in the geometry. Buildings can now fully collapse again, instead of just breaking apart walls, so you can chip away at foundations and load bearing walls to make the entire building come down. Destruction is also now 'material based' so a wood wall will break apart with just one explosive round, or a load of bullets while a metal or concrete wall will require a lot more damage to break open. Apparently on one map they are planning to make it so that you can destroy entire skyscrapers with jet strikes etc. Rush also returns, and Breakthrough too, with maps being designed more around Rush. Conquest will return as usual, and so will Air Assault. The usual vehicles also make an appearance, reintroducing helicopters alongside tanks, APCs, jets and buggies.

A little thing to add that i thought was interesting is that the team are trying to develop a way to crash land planes, so that your plane being shot down isn't an instant death, rather you can attempt to crash land it and escape the wreckage.

Drones and robotics make the biggest addition to vehicles, you can get UAVs that allow you to mark targets for your team from above, drones that deliver missile strikes and bombing runs, and land based drones and robots that allow you to breach buildings, disarm bombs, spot enemies.

Commander mode is planning to be brought back too.

As far as I was told, this is DICE's attempt to bring Battlefield back to it's roots, with the team taking a lot of notes from BF2 and BF3. Development is in full swing and the game is hoping to launch in holidays of 2021 for PS5, Project Scarlett and PC. I will try and answer any questions in the comments.

Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall developers working on an open world RPG with 'dungeon master AI'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw6CUVk4mn0

The Story Engine that the studio is teasing us with is smart enough to act as your human DM. It would track the repercussions of your actions across the open-world game, it would have NPCs react and respond to your character in an evolving way.

Here is what they said in the video about it:

"Julian and I have worked in multiple situations where we had to design story telling apps that would build a story around your actions. Nobody in the RPG industry as far as I know have spent the time that we have spent inside the educational industry trying to do this and we have spent a lot of time modifying prototyping and building a story engine that we think will change how an RPG is done. We want to do what it felt like when a DM would sit across from you and react to what you did.

It started in infancy at Arena and was very primitive, Daggerfall was more involved and then every once in a while, years after, it was obvious that a story engine would be needed, and it would get more advanced every time I was on educational products. At this point i've been tinkering with it on and off for a few decades. It's gotten pretty good at this point. We hope it will be able to drive stories that would simulate a real person, Dungeon Master specifically, and continually keep the player with some decent stories but also make sure that there is continuation to these stories that would affect the world in a meaningfull way and in a persistant way so there is meaning in the short term to the quests and meaning after the quest is completed. That's the idea and it looks like after all that time, the technology will be able to do something like that."

A new Spyro game is in full development and set to be released Q4 2020.

I have an inside source at toys for bob the developers for the remastered Spyro games released last year. I got back in touch with him last night and I asked him about new games he's working on and he told be they have been working on a new Spyro title since January. Im not very into the game series that much so I don't know if this translates well but it stays true to the original and there are 200 levels with some visiting old ones but with new locations. I didn't ask him much since Ive never really played any of the games so I don't know what to ask but thats all I got. It's supposed to come out the same day as ps5 also but I don't think i doubt it's exclusive to that console. Sorry if this is not real leaks idk where to post this

Splinter Cell E3 2020 and Early Build LEAK

Splinter Cell 2020 or the internal title SCX will be a BIG part of UBI E3 2020.

The game started proper development around the end of 2015. The game was initially very similar to MGSV and in fact, took a lot of inspiration from it. SCX build 1, just to keep the timeline simple to follow, was VERY ROUGH, unfinished, gameplay driven, and open world. The game had 3 decently sized open areas to mess around in. Each area was roughly twice the size of The Division 1 -if I had to compare it to something in-house. One if I remember correctly was set somewhere in Southern Asia, was supposed to focus on some abandoned city, the other in Russia, and the third in South America. Alongside the three open-world area's there was also a hub area to roam in between missions (think Motherbase from MGSV.) There were also small areas set in New York City, Tokyo, and even on an Air Force One style plane (I think?) for one-off missions. The story was incomplete at the time of SCX 1.

SCX 2 saw downgrades to the size of the open-world areas, Russia, in particular, was shrunken significantly. The gameplay was more refined by this point. There was an ongoing debate as to how equipment and weapons should be handled throughout the game. The debate was between giving players like 90% of all equipment from the start, and let them experiment with all of the toys right away OR continue the system that SC: Blacklist had in where players would gradually obtain more and more equipment, each with higher and higher levels of upgrades. The story was still thin, but had enough meat to help other departments create content for it.

SCX 3 saw the biggest changes to the game. Almost completely scrapping the open-world concept as the teams thought it was too similar to what was and what will be put out by UBI. The only open-world area left is the hub area, which actually received a lot more love and attention during this build. Lots of fun little easter eggs and nods to other franchises hidden throughout the area. Instead of massive open worlds, the team decided to shift focus back to what the series had done before, small but incredibly detailed levels. The idea of "flashback" missions was discussed, levels from previous games would be redone and brought into this game. Either under the title of flashbacks or as simulations. The bank level from Chaos Theory, in particular, was one that was talked about at length.

I do not know much past SCX 3 besides that the open-world concept was never revisited. The way equipment upgrades worked in the game was still in the air. Flashbacks/Simulation missions were integrated but they weren't labeled as such anymore. They were just changed up a bit and rebranded as completely new missions, the support staff and Sam will both make comments on how they have "deja-vu" from those missions. The story was also completed and will be a "fitting yet crazy send-off."

To finish off I just want to say that yes, SCX is planned to be the FINAL Splinter Cell title with Sam as the main character. The team wanted to make SCX a love letter to all the fans that have stayed with them for the past dozen or so years. I was personally very worried for the next splinter cell game but after hearing this it made me excited for splinter cell again. Even if they revert back to an open world, I'm just happy that they are putting time and effort into Sam's final hurrah.
//I got all of this information from word of mouth, and that's all I want to say without causing any trouble.

Rockstar are developing open-world game with medieval setting

Obligatory take with grain of salt etc etc

The source I'm getting this from has been right about GTAO DLC and RDR2 story details (before it released). Don't want to say more than that for obvious reasons.

Rockstar's next game will not be Bully 2 or GTA 6. They are developing an open world game with a medieval setting. Swordfighting/dueling will be a mechanic. Release date aimed for Q1 2021. Announcement isn't that long away.

Obviously sounds crazy and you have no reason to believe me, but as I said they have been very reliable before. I fully believe time will prove me right. Asking me anything more is pretty useless as I don't know anything other than what I've said.

Project Scarlett information

Keeping it vague for now.

The final name has been confirmed, can't say it yet cause theres only about <25 people who actually know the name.

At the moment power wise, we're looking at the same as the PS4, slightly better though - not by a lot though, a repeat of last gen won't happen.

There will be 2 models, both @ 2TB of storage,1 model will be all digital and one will have a disc drive. They will retail at $449 and $499 respectively.

Launch titles are Forza Motorsport 8 (which is the best in the series from a development standpoint), halo infinite (despite the rumours, the game is doing fine) and a Ninja Theory RPG that is unannounced.

Right now there are 4 scheduled 2020 exclusives, 1 for each quarter to help with consistancy and help gamepass. All the bought out studios will be converted into AAA, with the initiative being AAAA. There will be a disgustingly small teaser for the fable reboot at E3, and a load of marketing deals, extra OS features (think LFG, SNAP etc.), and xcloud information with a WW open beta.

The initiative wont be on the radar till maybe 2021 with a teaser, the quality of the game they're preparing was compared to RDR2 by a load of higher ups (and Satya Nadal !)

Take this with a grain of salt please, this comes from a few different sources as well as my own information gained. Next gen will be very interesting.

AC Ragnarok Leak I just saw.

In the new AC game, there will be a setting to determine the Protagonist's weiner size. The setting will be available weather you choose a boy or a girl. There will be separate sliders for the girth & length. If you make it too long, it will hang out of your skirt/kilt & you get negative reputation points. At the longest, the head will just barely touch the ground & drag; at the girthiest, I looks to be about the size of a popcorn tin. If you walk too much while it's max length, your character will cum & he/she will be incapacitated for a few seconds. If you make it a certain size, you can use it as a weapon. You have to make it certain sizes to appeal to certain characters.

Edit: I forgot some important details.

Why fake leaks?

I wish people would just post real leaks here. I don't like looking and seeing 5 different "leaks" about assassins creed Ragnorok. Who the heck puts the time in coming up with all that crap.

Ps5 Launch details.

The PS5 will launch November 2020. The price is still aimed to be accessible to all consumers while providing a power console. The projected price for the system is 500$. The system is all about the past for Sony, as it is the future. Which is why it will be backwards compatible with all Playstation 4 games, PS2 games, and PS1 games. It will be backwards compatible with some a lot of PS3 games but as you all know due to that systems Cell Architecture. It complicated things. But, most of the first party PS3 titles that weren’t remastered/remade will be available right away, and of course a good amount of popular third party titles. The system will have marketing buzzwords such as “play right away, download just what you need, no load times, and the all in one PlayStation”. The system will also be a little more open to the consumers. For example, players will be able to download custom themes from third party applications like the PS3, the system will launch with a much overhauled Share factory. With custom layouts/live-streaming and video editing tools made by a third party, and green screen support. It will also incorporate features and tools from Sony’s Vegas Pro software. It will be more compatible with more Bluetooth headsets as a side note. The game will launch with Gran Turismo 7, Socom reboot, Demon souls. As well as SIE japan is working on a more family friendly game for the PS5 launch. Sony is also in touch with a lot of indie developers, securing early access deals and exclusivity deals for launch. As well, all PS4 exclusive games from 2018 and on will receive a Ps5 enhancement patch. You’ll also have your Your expected launch games like the Black ops reboot, Ubisoft’s Rainbow 6: Quarantine And more. Sony will push their PlayStation now and PlayStation Plus services as well, plus members will be be given access to their free games a month and game(s) given to them from Sony’s legacy titles. Like a game from the PS2 era as part of ps plus. The PlayStation store will receive an overhaul, allowing new features like gifting and more. There were even talks of a digital trade in system, not sure where the conversation has landed. Sony aims to take the generation again with the PlayStation 5.

New rumors about Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok

There is another rumor in the network about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed, which will be released in autumn 2020.

The source of this rumor is supposedly a developer from Ubisoft. He reports that the action Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok (according to rumors, this is how the new part will be called) will take place in the early 1000s, and one of the main themes of the game will be the conversion of the Norwegian population to Christianity.

  • The game takes place in the early 1000s;
  • The main character – the Danish Viking. This time you can only play for a man;
  • The game card will include Denmark, southern Sweden, and Norway, as well as partly Ireland and England;
  • The main political events are devoted to the Saxon kingdoms;
  • The developer claims that Ireland and Norway are his favorite regions, and quests will be very interesting. In one of them, the player will be looking for missing children who have fallen into a manhole. This task will be somehow related to Celtic folklore;
  • In another quest the hero will climb the mountain in Norway and see Odin;
  • One of the main writers of the game is Darby McDevitt, who wrote the story for Black Flag;
  • The game will feature many famous Viking personalities. One of them is the Supreme King of Ireland, Brian Boru. Although Boru has a grudge against the Scandinavians, he infiltrates the protagonist and even treats him like a father.

It’s worth noting that a couple of days ago, other information about Assassin’s Creed came up online: it said that the game would still have a gender selection.

Assassin's Creed Ragnarok info

There's a lot of crap being said on the next AC these few days, so let's tell real stuff for once.

Game is indeed to be called Ragnarok, and set during the Viking era, during the first invasion of England (9th century)

Will probably be revealed during the sony event in february

Map will include Scandinavia and part of England, with London as big city, as well as some english counties.

There is the choice between a male protagonist and a female protagonist, but this doesn't change the plot. Both are called Jora. Protagonist went to England during the invasion and goes back to Scandinavia later, after he became an assassin.

Game begins during battle of Linsdifrane, where you raid an island and invade a castle.

Your protagonist has a very strong link with gods, especially Odin. There are often visions of him, and of Asgard.

The First Civilization plot will be further expanded in this game, with a lot of norse gods being part of the game, as well as Yggdrasil and realms.

Combat system brings back shields and you can use longswords or big axes. Heavy weapons in general.

Naval gameplay is here purely for exploration or in battles. You cant fight on sea.

There are still big battles as in Odyssey, where you raid islands and take the control. You must then control them and try to keep them yours, because they can be attacked.

There are still superpowers abilities.

Dialogue choices are still in the game

You can recruit a lot of NPCs to join the assassins, like you did in AC Brotherhood

You still have a pet bird to scan the map but not an eagle anymore. Instead it's a raven.

You play as the ancestor of Osto Berg, hostage of the assassins. Some old characters come back, but present day isn't a big part of the game.

What are Rockstars Next projects?

Supposedly Rockstar is working on two projects from all the leakers I've seen or talked to. GTA 6 is inevitable because of how much success from 5. The other has to be a L.A. Noire sequel. Why would you remaster it for PS4,switch, PC, and Xbox one and also come out with a VR component for PC and Psvr.

Bethesda's new IP Starfield is experiencing significant development problems.

so as it comes as little surprise the catastrophe of Fallout 76 has caused much inner turmoil over at bethesda, both in terms of its publishing arm and developers. Todd Howard is seemingly more absent in starfields creation, as he now has to oversee multiple projects at once, blades, 76, starfield. etc.

the only info i was told tech wise, is the creation engines' cell based loading system causes significant frame hiccups when trying to incorporate fast moving vehicles. a key point of this game is supposedly space flight in some aspect, so things are not looking too good at the moment.

additionally i hear that having multiple "bethesda game studios" locations has been really bad for general team cohesion.

thats all for now.

What is Guerilla Games Working on? Any ideas would be awesome.

First it was Horizon Zero Dawn 2, then it was new Killzone and now it is a New Socom. Is it possible for them to be working on all three.

Crash Bandicoot Worlds

https://imgur.com/a/Atg9sJg

The mask in the video "It's Time To Play" and that Crash Bandicoot render in the bus posters come from the new game coming in 2020. The game, which was initially known as "CRASH8" bears the title of "Crash Bandicoot Worlds". The game will introduce three new masks: the lunar mask, the sun mask, the eclipse mask. Crash will travel around the planet Earth in a semi-open world, similar to Mario 3D World. There will be new enemies, such as a hybrid cat-frog, a rhino, a wombat and a rapper monkey.

The game is developed by Toys For Bob and Vicarious Visions, and since October have started showing it behind closed doors, the announcement will be in December 2019.

AC: Kingdom leak I saw on /v/

Obviously there's a lot of these going around so take with the grain. This one claimed to be a Dev and appeared fairly knowledgeable

  1. Game is set In the early 1000's.
  2. You play as a Danish Viking. You can only play as a man this time round. There is no female protagonist in this title.

  3. Game map is Denmark, southern Sweden and Norway and parts of Ireland and England.

  4. Main poitical scene is in the Saxon Kingdoms. Dev said it is interesting.

  5. Dev claimed thus far Ireland and Norway are his favourite regions to explore. The quests there are interesting. One in Ireland has you searching for missing children down a well and it evolves into a Celtic folklore mystery quest. Another has the protagonist climbing a mountain in Norway and he sees apparitions of Odin (isu?)..

  6. Darby is one of the main writers and has a love of Irish history so he squeezed many notable Viking age folks from the Irish theatre of Norse campaigns in. Of note the Irish High King Brian Boru plays a major role and despite his dislike of the Norse he becomes fond of the protagonist, serving a father like role. Team love him and call him ''Brian Bro-ruma''.

A big theme is change and many Norse are converting to Christianity at this time and Norse power is dwindling.

That's all, it should be in the /v/ archive..

New Half Life game (VR) will be announced on Wednesday.

Got it from a close source (im gonna call him Jim) who has been working on the project for a while (also been in Valve for sometime, but he is not known publicly) and I known him for a few months.

So basically, the announcement is coming on Wednesday.

I asked in what form, Jim told me that he isnt 100% sure, but he heard rumours in the office that trailer was ready, however he said that Valve keeps changing their minds on how to announce the product.

I asked 1 if its a continuation of Episode 2, and he said its a VR continuation but also a separate thing. I asked him what the hell does that mean?

He said - “Its weird to explain, because theres a new game mechanic that wasnt really explored in any game before”

I asked him if hes 100% sure about Wednesday announcement. He said that Valve wanted to announce the game 4 times over the last 5 months but always postponed it because of reasons. They wouldnt discuss the reasons with the whole team, only high positioned individuals. He said if the wednesday announcement wont come, its gonna be because they want it to be perfect, however he said its very likely on Wednesday.

I also asked him if Its gonna be VR only, he said they worked on both nonvr and VR versions.

Fingers crossed.

Also, created a new account because of course im gonna create a new account im not stupid :P.

MAFIA IV Massive Leak + MAFIA II Remaster (UPDATE #1)

So after my initial post, I reached out to my sources and started asking some questions which I got. This post will delve further into the gameplay systems.

Now, it's worth noting that the two of my "developer sources" left the studios a while back, one left earlier this year when a mass number did, and the other left fairly recently. So keep in mind that things could and probably WILL change through the next couple years of development on M4.

I won't discuss M2 Remastered here as I have NO further details on that project.

I won't discuss much, if any, of the narrative, as I barely know anything, nor do I want to. Hate story spoilers myself.

  • Game will be about you gaining control of Vegas, will be a sprawling story about crime, love and greed.
  • You'll be able to choose your crew, you can put hits out on people, store owners who refuse to cough up any protection money, etc.
  • If you have a high heat level, cops will pull you over and give you tickets just for driving past them (targeted harassment etc. for being bad).
  • Cops pull you over for speeding, running red lights etc.
  • Game will have a "reputation system" which will influence how NPCs react to you. If you decide to run your crime empire fair and less brutal, people will be more keen to approach you and be nice in the streets, offer you tips about jobs nearby etc, however if you're a nasty piece of shit who constantly kills and murders recklessly, people will avoid you and cross the sidewalk when you approach, this system is similar to the one handled in MAFIA 3 where white women in rich districts would avoid Lincoln, just expanded here and reflective on your gameplay choices.
  • If you have high enough reputation, cops might think twice about pulling you over out of fear, so you can speed more and commit less larger-crimes such as muggings.
  • You can smash up and destroy opposing Casinos.
  • Sex and head in your penthouse suite.
  • Minigames in the Casinos.
  • Motorbikes.
  • New Animation technology to give the game world more life.
  • Their driving animations are said to be super detailed, realistic and responsive to player input while still looking on point.

More MINOR details to follow soon.....

Any questions, ask and I'll try to answer.

Assassin's Creed Ragnarok info

Guess you all know about the next Assassin's Creed and it's Viking setting, so here's a bunch of infos about it.

The game was codenamed kingdom but now is called Ragnarok. Release fall 2020 on both old and new gen. Reveal during the playstation event on feb. Viking setting, c. 800 BC. Map includes Scandinavia and a big part of England, including London and Plimouth. Choice between a woman and a man, but there's no impact on the story, that is the same. Protagonist, woman or male, is called Jora, and become an Assassin during the game. Brotherhood system is back, with recruitable npcs. You can still use a boat to travel on sea, but there's less naval combat than black flag or Odyssey imo. Story-wise, the game is focused on a revenge quest, with a big part of first civilization story. Realms like asgard or Jottuneim can be visited in the game, mythical beigs such as Odin or Loki play a big part in the story, as well as the Ygdrassil. Game has a present day part but, as much as Origins or Odyssey. It will conclude the present day storyline. gameplay is the same as odyssey, with improved mechanics and further rpg elements

Socom online PS5 launch title

Developed Guerrilla games 2nd team. It’s planned to be a PS5 launch title and a big forward step into the competitive multiplayer genre for Sony. Production began from Guerrilla games in mid-late 2017. The game is very true to the older Socom game. A hard/punishing tactical team shooter. The game is very authentic to the Military/navy seal, real life weapon sounds recorded, navy seal collaborators brought in, and a heavy use of photogrammetry. Just to clarify, the game will be realistic but not military sim territory, fun is still the priority for the game. The game, like the originals will be very competitive and requires a lot of skill and patience. All maps in the game not only destructive and Dynamic but also change. Maps have a unique weather/day and night cycle changing the way players will have to player and adapt. For example, it was described to me ass such, if you shoot out a specific light source for the rest of the match is rendered useless and can no longer be used. All weapons in the game are projectile, not hit-scan meaning you have to adjust for distance and wind effects. Bullets have entry/exit wounds on surfaces in real time. This game also has a very unique damage system, or bullet penetration system. All damage in the game is dynamic, hitting different parts of the body does different things to the enemy. For example, getting shot in the knee while damage the player but also slow them down permanently until they are patched up by a healer. This also applies to different parts of the body such as the bullet resistant vests, getting shot by a high enough caliber bullet will might now damage the solder per say but now their vests is useless and further damage will do so. Getting shot in the head, 99% will kill you, but getting shot by a low caliber pistol while you have a helmet on might just damage the player instead, depending on the bullet shot distance and angle. Players will also be able to peak/mount their guns on surfaces and doors, and also to turn on/off light switches etc. the game will feature and in depth weapon customization system, with dozens of option for attachments, grips etc for each gun. This customization also goes into a class system for characters. For example, you can choose to be a medic, riot control, a dedicated sniper, demolition, mechanic and more. Each not only will come with unique weapons but also talents/ perks for the team. For example, the demolition will come with a Grenade launcher, and extra ammo for his team. But they are also the slowest moving class. Every class has their own trades offs, keeping any one class form being too powerful/ becoming a power fantasy. The goal was always to make your team feel like a unit, no one superpower but all working together. The game was described to me as being online focused, but there is a single player. Not a traditional story campaign but a set of unique challenging missions meant to test the player in different situations. There are another set of missions which are co-op, requires a lot of team coordination. Very challenging and difficult but rewarding. Also a pvp/pve mode was described as pitting players against other players and AI at once. On a side note, the game will take full advantage of the PlayStation 5’s Ray traced Audio, allowing for precise sound anticipation form bullet sounds and footsteps and even debris. Also the haptic feedback is really neat, shooting for a long time like a LMG, the bumper will tighten more and more ass the less ammo you having in your magazine/clip increases. This will almost stall or harden the bumper until you reload or find a new gun with bullets, pretty interesting.

Any news on what's coming at X019 tomorrow?

Been hearing we're getting RAGE2 in gamepass, a new Obsidian IP + a new Rare IP but I'm wondering if anyone has any more information about either of those games, or the show in general.

Guerilla Games developing a reboot of SOCOM for the PS5?

MAFIA IV Massive Leak + MAFIA II Remaster

I have three separate sources confirming this. Two of them former developers for Hangar 13, one of them being a journalist. They are very reputable, obviously I can't reveal who they are, nor shall I, as I wish not to hurt their career or cause any legal issues. If that makes my credibility lower, then so be it.

Anyway, let's get into it.

As some of you may already know - MAFIA IV started prototyping stages of development right after MAFIA III wrapped up its DLC season, however as it was reported, the project was "cancelled" or "passed on" by Hangar 13 management in favour of an original IP (all reported and confirmed).

After development on their "original project" wasn't gaining any traction, they decided to assemble a small unit which then became Hangar 13 in Brighton, UK. This team, according to my two developer sources, picked up their original MAFIA IV pitches and prototypes and hit the ground running. After a good 5-6 months of internal struggles, they decided that the project was ambitious and something they wished to pursue, now, every branch (aside from the Czech Republic, I'll get to that) are working on MAFIA IV.

The game, according to my two developer sources and journalist, will indeed be set in 70s Vegas and continue on from where MAFIA III left off. You will play as a new protagonist and it will return to you playing as the Italian Mob in Vegas' golden years of organised crime. Said to be very "Scorsese-esque" whatever that means.

The game will feature a huge map to traverse of course, the story will span a decade according to one of my developer sources, the other developer claims that this was initially not the case as they wanted to continue the documentary style of MAFIA III's storytelling at first, but instead will be a more traditional "now" story with no flashbacks or interviews ahead of the events.

I'm not sure if any characters will return - I never asked this, unfortunately, although I would expect Vito to make an appearance at the very least.

Gone are the repetitive missions from MAFIA III. They know they fucked up there. Apparently the story behind that is a bit murky. The game (MAFIA III) originally allowed you to go straight for the racket bosses, each with unique encounters and deaths, and not have to do the repetitive filler stuff, but as the release date loomed over the developers, the producers were pressuring them to get it shipped and had to make some quality drawbacks.

Many planned mechanics for MAFIA III have made their way into MAFIA IV, one of which being an empire building system, far more in depth than anything I've heard of in any game before. It's insane the stuff they plan with this. One of my sources was telling me of how you can literally build, buy out, and expand casinos, you can take a rundown building and turn it into a metropolis.

It'll be on a new version of the MAFIA II/III engine, massively overhauled, many of the technical issues that plagued M3 should now be mostly non-existent apparently.

Motion capture began on the game about 8-9 months ago. Expected to be revealed next year, with a 2021 release, next gen obviously.

Now then, MAFIA II Remaster - yes, this is a thing and it's coming sooner than you think. Not sure when, but they said "SOON" (TM) - Hangar 13's Czech branch is working on this, it's a complete overhaul and uses the MAFIA IV engine. Think RE2 Remake levels.

Any questions, ask. I'll try and answer what I can - I understand if you don't believe me, but we'll all be here when the game is announced so yeah :)

P.S: This is a throwaway account obviously - don't want any legal repercussions to hit me :D

Death Stranding DLC will be announced in the summer of 2020 - coinciding with the PC launch

Hi all, just was given word from a fairly credible source that Death Stranding will be getting DLC in the summer of 2020. There is not yet any sort of mention of whether it will be paid or free. The source said that we should, "expect it to be paid DLC, with no guaranteed price tag". Surprisingly enough, the game is incomplete as it is now, and the story will leave off in a cliffhanger - apparently due to having an entirely different team work on the "second half" of the project, which may or may not indicate a sequel in the works.

I didn't get much, but there WILL be a "raid" mode added later on. Assuming all this is true, the rumored name for the upcoming downloadable content is September-1998. I don't know if that name is relevant or not, sorry.

I want to point out that there was NOTHING surrounding whether this is going to be a package deal with smaller microtransactions included or a completely new addition to the game - all I know is that it will be announced coming the release of the PC version.

Epic Games Store Subscription service

Sorry that this is not a big leak like the next r* project or bethesda next big thing, but thought I'd share anyway

Epic will be following its free game every week plan with a subscription service next year, some partners have been contacted already.

The service will be something like what Humble currently offers and not like Origin Access / MS GamePass / uPlay+, etc.

Subscribing get you two games every week. Games are new-to-EGS like the free games they have been already doing this year.

While it's still being ironed out, the basic plan is pretty much like Humble Monthly in a weekly scale. You buy a monthly pass thing with gives you some Fortnite things plus access to four week of games. I'm not entirely sure about what they will offer in the Fortnite side.

You keep the games on your library forever.

There's a lot on paper yet so obviously things can change. If everything goes as planned, though, next year people can expect to see an 'encore' of what they are doing now (Some games that went free on EGS this year will be available again for people who missed it every other week) before the subscription service goes live in Spring.
