Smash Bros Ultimate DLC characters Leak

The final two DLC characters for Smash are:

  • Doomguy, 2016 design but with Eternal's exposed biceps and arm blade.

  • Monster Hunter, with M/F alts each wearing a different armor.

I work at the marketing team of Microsoft/Xbox Game Studios and they plan to release a portable xbox console

Like the title said; I work at the marketing team on Xbox Studios and they told us to start to prepare to work on the brand's visual for a portable console of Microsoft they plan to release a while after Xbox Scarlett.

I have little word on what the console really looks like, or how powerful the system is, only that it’s named “Project OH” and a few major functional details that the team needs to prepare before more information is unveiled to us. The information I received it’s that it will be a smaller sister to the Project Scarlett and that it will be a surprise reveal of E3 2020 alongside Scarlett, and will be released at a latter date of Scarlett.

On the functionalities: The idea is that the portable console will use the fully capabilities of XCloud and Game Pass to run games alongside the Scarlett. You will be able to download games on your Scarlett and tell your Scarlett to send some of the games that work on the Project OH at extremely fast download speeds, the idea is that you can download a large amount of big games in less than a hour, or you can also stream on the console using the Scarlett and vice-versa.

The screen will also have touch and voice recognition technology, and you can use your finger and phrases to navigate trough menus and command actions, and of course, you can also use the console independently from Scarlett (but having Scarlett gives these extra perks). It will be able to run games on 4k and above when streaming from Scarlett and XCloud (no word on standalone playing, but I assume it will be much lower)

This console won’t accept disks and it will be all digital, in order to dedicate power to other functionalities such as battery life, storage etc and it also be much cheaper than Scarlett in order to compete with Stadia(yes, for some reason, they want to make this a direct competitor to Stadia and market it). When I had vague word on what it would look like, it’s “squared in shape” and it will be the largest portable console to date.

They told it would release with games alongside it. But didn't said which games, for exception they are working on Cyberpunk 2077 immersive dialogue system to be used with the console, and to get things ready when confirmation word comes out.

Btw: There were words at the management in the past that Microsoft wanted to make a portable console to compete with Vita, but the superiors tought that the Vita would have a hard time at the market and that releasing “just a more powerful portable console” wouldn’t be enough to grasp the public attention on an already dominated Nintendo market, so they’ve decided to cut the project and wait for more interesting ideas to work on.

Anyone got stuff about the next Nintendo Direct?

Title. Please provide sources to back your info up.

SEGA possibly returning to the console business

Main Details

- SEGA is developing a new next generation console in secret. Whether it gets released or not depends on the success of the SEGA Genesis Mini. If it sells well, SEGA will move forward with their plan to return to the console business for the first time in over 20 years. All of this of course would involve moving their IPs (Yakuza for example) from Xbox/Playstation/Nintendo/PC to the new SEGA console.

Additional details

- SEGA wants to surprise everyone at E3 2020 if the Genesis Mini exceeds expectations.

- One of the main advertisements for the new console that SEGA is thinking about should it go forward is "SEGA does what Sony don't". (SEGA still remembers what happened in 2001)

- SEGA would attempt to get an endorsement for the console from President Trump himself, who also endorsed the Genesis.

- Its not going to be called the Dreamcast 2.

Other Details

- Plans for developing a Saturn or Dreamcast Mini alongside the new console also depends on the success of the Genesis Mini.

- The Sega Channel online service would be revived as apart of this move.

Some possible information about Fable 4.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt obviously. What I'm saying here can only be proven with time.

My father has a very long time friend who has been working in the game industry since the early 2000s and currently works at PlayGround Studio's, I can get into more detail if needed but I'm a massive Fable fan and brought up the topic and managed to get him to tell me details about an upcoming Fable 4, I obviously can't prove what he told me or expose who he was so my only real hope here is that this information is proven in time. (I also hope he doesnt see this or I could get in trouble.)

I think breaking it up may be the easiest way to format this?

Most of the current leaks are true, it will be made in Unreal Engine, have a very in depth character creation system, Albion being destroyed, no more guns, that stuff is all true for the most part.

They have put a lot of effort into making sure that the game keeps its wit and charm, both in characters and small details.

Morality will be much more gray and instead of obvious results from actions there will be invisible counters for your actions which will influence the world in small, not always obvious ways.

The story itself is designed to be a way to tie all the loose ends of the previous games as well as be fan service to fans of any previous games.

Jack of Blades will be returning as an villian but wont be the primary antagonist, William Black will be the true antagonist corrupted by the darkness (although greatly weakened).

The Sword of Aeons will return as a plot point and will be a end game reward for beating the Jack of Blades.

Theresa will also make a reappearance but won't guide you through everything like previous games, not in the same ways atleast.

The Spire will once again be a central part of the story but will be used in a different way than just being used to make a wish.

Your character will be voiced but won't speak too often or have a personality beyond what you choose to do/be.

Your character can also be permanently physically changed by actions and events like previous games (Moreso Fable 1/2).

A heavy emphasis is being put on being a normal person, the pacing of progression is much slower and things like social standings and owning businesses are much more complex and less exploitable.

Work minigames have been overhauled entirely, rather than mashing buttons they are more joystick intensive. They are also more complex and take longer to do but pay much more.

Fighting has gotten a large overhaul from just being spamming a single button depending on your range, weapons are slower and do more damage but apparently still feel fluid to use although strategy is slightly more important. Less being one shotted with attacks.

Dying makes you lose experience and money, there will be other penalties depending on where you are and how you died as well.

Physics make more sense and the world is less static, think almost like Red Dead Redemption 2 where when you walk into places you push open the door naturally without locking on anywhere, animations don't snap into place anymore.

Weapons can be damaged over time but you can repair them at a blacksmith for a fee.

Although guns are gone crossbows are still in the game and have different ammo types that have different effects.

Armor is broken into a few categories but armors in those categories all have the same stats, (Heavy armor, light armor, etc etc) still allowing for people to use (for the most part) whatever armor they want without penalty.

Many mechanics from previous Fable games will be returning, although tweaked and improved. The game itself will also be more fluid and unpredictable at times.

The game won't stray away from mature themes but it won't be very gloomy or dark, atleast not moreso than the previous games.

The architecture of buildings will be similar to Fable 1 and their designs.

Multiplayer will be more natural than in 3 and has a lot of resources being put into it.

The world won't be as massive as some other games but will be jam packed with things to do at every turn. And despite being much more open than all the other Fable games it will still be restricted in some areas, no glitchily jumping over mountains (I asked).

You will have the option to get a dog but it's not necessary for the story and may have some drawbacks if they are not well trained, like messing up stealth or social situations.

AI will react more naturally and stealth will be a genuine option for playing.

If there aren't any major delays the game will be a launch title for the new Xbox but will also release with the Xbone or atleast release very near the launch of the new console.

It may be a timed exclusive before launching on PC. Microsoft is apparently very confident that it will be a major title for them.

That's kind of the bulk of what's new from what I remember? We talked about it for a while and if what he's saying is true this may turn out to be the Fable game that people have been promised/waiting for for years, a true generational leap worthy successor to Fable 2 that actually follows through with its ambitions. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

"Grand Theft Auto: World" information

Sorry if information is lacking or underwhelming. I don't know what security protocols Rockstar North Limited uses to protect project leaks.

  • There will only be one protagonist, but a few flashback missions where you play as the main villain.
  • Rockstar North Limited first overestimated the power of the next gen consoles, this caused a major plot hole in the story line causing the project to be delayed by about a year due to having to cut off a major part of the map, having to rewrite script etc.
  • The game is set in 2021 (this was the original estimation of the release date, but due to point two the new estimation is 2022.)
  • The script was finished March 2012, but was heavily edited in 2016 due to point two.
  • The game will have three major maps including San Francisco, Guangzhou, and Dubai.

That's about all I want to say for my own financial security. Don't have a source to provide, I guess you just gotta have faith in a internet person for once.

Naughty Dog's new IP, "Stray's cross", leak from a recent meeting

THQ Nordic might be announcing a new Evil Dead game at Gamescon

https://www.thqnordic.com/article/are-you-ready-kids-thq-nordic-announces-gamescom-2019-line

This is the article for the confirmation and now onto the Evil Dead bit.

Bruce Campbell who is the actor behind Ash, has stated multiple times on twitter that there is a new Evil Dead game coming to PC and Consoles and because THQ were behind Evil Dead Regeneration and Evil Dead fistful of boomstick, it would make sense that a remake of one or the other is in development right now and might be announced fairly soon.

Friday The 13th: The Game - Future Content and info on the Lawsuit

Hey everyone. Made a reddit account just for this. Lets get started. First I'll talk about future content that was planned to be added, then later on I'll talk about the lawsuit.

Jason X

Jason X was going to be unlocked at level 110. There was a mistake Gun Media made a while ago that unlocked Jason X for people to be playable, and I forget exactly what level he was unlocked at, but his current unlock level at that time was just a placeholder. Again, Jason X was going to be unlocked at 110.

Jason X was planned to have a Pre-Uber version. It's been said in the past that Jason X would only have his Uber version, but this is false. His Pre-Uber version would be unlocked at 109, though he was going to be worked on after Jason X was completed.

The Lazarus Experience

Fans of the movies may be familiar with Part 8's SS Lazarus. This was a ship that the movie took part in, the same movie that had Jason visiting Manhattan.

The Lazarus Experience was going to be a Virtual Cabin 3.0. It was going to feature many more puzzles than the 2.0, and have an AI Jason. Well, kind of. If you've payed attention to what's been officially said in the past, you'd know that they didn't want to make an AI Jason because it would be too complicated. They'd have to account for all the paths that the AI would need to take, and it just wouldn't work. But for the Lazarus, they figured out how they could do it. They'd have you do various puzzles, and in certain puzzles, you'd be in tight corners, hallways, etc, which Jason would chase you down. They were actually planning on revealing a NHA Jason at the end of VC 3.0. If you're not aware of what NHA means, it means Never Hike Alone. They were working with the directors of Never Hike Alone to get Ghost Jason into the game, and it would've felt very similar to how Jason X was announced.

Lan Mode

This is self explanatory. I won't waste your time with it.

Sandbox Mode

There really isn't much to talk about regarding this. Sandbox mode was just going to spawn you into one of the game's maps as a counselor of your choosing, and you'd be free to explore without Jason coming after you. This was going to allow you to explore the maps in case you haven't gotten the chance to do so in online matches, it would also allow you to infinitely repair vehicles, so you could practice your repairs.

Paranoia

This is the one that may upset a lot of people. Paranoia was going to be a Part V gamemode, where there's 7 players, while one player is secretly the killer. They came out and said the reason we never got it is because it "wasn't fun enough". That's bullshit. The state of the gamemode was as fun and buggy as the normal gamemode we currently have, it just would've gotten stale after about 30 rounds. One player would be chosen as Killer, and they'd spawn in as a counselor, just like everyone else. As a counselor, they can sabotage vehicles, hide repair parts (this would replace Jason's traps, basically you'd press down on the D-Pad while holding a repair part, and you'd hide the part under a pile of leafs.) and at the press of a button, you could turn into Part V Jason, and start your slaughters. Being Jason, you'd have a serious debuff. You could only morph every 80 seconds, and you had no shift, which is why it was important to sabotage the cars. Though you had infinite stalk, so this would encourage trying to be stealthy.

Future Unannounced Content

There's quite a bit to go with this one, so I'll list them off but I won't go into detail. If you want detail, PM me and I'll inform you.

  • Part 3 Kill Pack
  • Part 5 Kill Pack
  • Part 6 Kill Pack
  • Part 8 Kill Pack
  • Part 9 Kill Pack
  • Attempts to add FvJ Jason and Remake Jason to the game, though they were VERY skeptical
  • Never Hike Alone Map
  • Part 9 Map
  • Lingerie Clothing Pack (this got leaked a while ago, you could find an image very easily online)
  • Futuristic Clothing Pack
  • Christmas Clothing Pack (Skipped to work on the Engine Upgrade, planned next Christmas)
  • New Single Player Challenge every 2 Months
  • New Grab Kills (duh)
  • New Items for counselors such as fanny packs (Equip it like a flashlight or Walkie talkie, hold 1 additional item)
  • A new variant of the Pamela/Tommy tapes, these would be like Newspaper Scraps

Wow... Alright. Now that's out of the way, I can talk about the situation with the lawsuit.

On June 21st, Wes Keltner came out and said we'd be getting no more future content for the game, as you should know.

The reason for this is a lawsuit that came about, I won't go deep into it because you can find many articles online regarding it, but they stopped content not because they HAD to, but because they didn't want to risk investing money into more content development and then being told to stop.

They had lots of content done for the game but it all had to be thrown to the bin. But in their current situation, they can in fact develop and release more content for the game. They chose not to. They wanted us to stop asking so much, so they dropped Illfonic (the developers of the game and the content). NECA did in fact have to stop working on their Jason figures, but they were told that they can FINISH all figures that was currently being developed, and Gun Media was in the same right. They are legally allowed to finish all content that was being worked on and release it, and by the time they would've completed all of that, the lawsuit would've been cleared up and they could continue working on content that hadn't even been thought of yet.

TL;DR Lots of planned content that was going to be worked on and was almost complete, but was dropped.

They can still work on content, they choose not to.

For those who are bummed out about the fake leaks, here's what I know about Manhunt 3.

It was in pre-production at R London by a very small team in 2011 while the rest were assisting R North on GTA V.

It was in active dev starting from 2013 to late 2016.

You were playing as an airplane crash survivor stranded in a remote island (sounds familiar?). The main objective was to escape and survive with as many survivors as you can, it was possible to complete the game with you being the only survivor.

The island was open into hub areas, not exactly open world but plenty to explore. There were no vehicles.

It had survival mechanics and you could bring supplies and medicine to the camp for the rest of the survivors (again, it does sound pretty familiar too).

You were going to fight against a bunch of people on the island, the big twist was that they were guinea pigs for the Pickman Bridge from M2. Experiments happening on the island led by Dr Whyte. Only this time, they were successful in having two personalities, without knowing that both existed in the same body.

However, the implanted personality was still based on Leo, as it was the only personality with much of the important work already done by Pickman. They decided to do all this on a remote island so in case it fails, it won't be a repeat of M2.

Every enemy personality of the game could literally turn into Leo at any moment. They were some really cool unpredictable moments with the A.I., one minute they would turn into Leo, the next they were back to normal.

For example, one moment you are chased by vicious killer, and out of nowhere they are cowering in a corner and try to run away from you begging for their lives. It was dynamic and it could happen at any random moment.

Some "enemies" were completely innocent who went into the project as they were desperate for money. So if you decide to kill someone, there is a high chance you are killing an innocent person under the the influence of the Pickman Bridge. Something like Danny from M2. You were supposed to find that out near the end of the game.

Guns and ammo are extremely rare and more emphasis was put into stealth and close combat.

Avoiding killing people was an option with a few non-lethal ways or avoiding them altogether.

The game was intended to never force a killing on you. It was your call.

The main protagonist (Casey Rivera) was an average joe. He has zero combat training and the early kills/knockouts are very messy and sloppy. He becomes very used to the killing/knocking out and this progression was dynamic. The more you use a certain weapon, the more accustomed he becomes with it. And similar weapons to the one he was used to, would also become easier to use, regardless if they were lethal or not.

The second big twist was tied into the killings. The more people Casey kills, the crazier he would get.

EVERYTHING would reflect that. From the U.I., to the animations, dialogue even the way the story progresses.

You could "unlock" the ability to kill you own survivors if you wanted.

All of that was a hidden insanity mechanic, it was never explained to the player.

In a way, you were turning into a cold killer, without the need of an implant like the Pickman Project.

The Housers put on a mandate that a third Manhunt moved away from the over the top graphic violence and had an emphasis on psychological horror elements. While it was still violent, it was nothing like the previous games.

It wasn't about the executions anymore, it was about the consequences of an execution.

It wasn't going to be called Manhunt 3, just Manhunt. But the story was a picking up after M2.

It would be a reboot in gameplay and mechanics.

Multiplayer design started in 2015 because of GTA Online. I know jack-shit about it, doubt it went very far.

While it was deep in development, it was put in hold for a lot of reasons.

One was Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider. They were afraid of the obvious comparisons it would draw, but they had faith that the mechanics, horror elements, and the maturity of the story would make it stand on its own.

The other was RDR 2. It needed resources from of all the studios and many other projects were put on hold because of it.

And mainly, it was Max Payne 3. MP3 flopped and they were "afraid" of the linearity of the new Manhunt.

They are very proud of what they done with this, I doubt that its is completely dead, but the last update I got for this one was back in 2016.

However, many assets were reused in RDR 2 and it helped immensely because it was stuck in development hell for long time.

Some survival crafting and camp mechanics were reworked into RDR.

Guarma was going to be a lot smaller. 85% of the island is reused from Manhunt.

Tropical Trees and foliage and some wildlife was taken directly from it.

At least one execution with a knife in a mission was taken from Manhunt.

And some music was taken from Manhunt.

Colin Stetson (Hereditary) was the composer and all the tracks from him for this game were taken directly from Manhunt, I know that one was slightly altered for RDR (where you clear a cave from some weird rednecks). This one is definitely his and you can tell it barely fits for a game like RDR.

I do believe its going to happen at some point, but a lot of things will be reworked.

Okay: so let’s get this straight.

1. There is no dlc for Red Dead Redemption 2 or remake of the first game as far as I know. 2. This was an experiment I have always wanted to do regarding the spreading of rumors in video game culture. I’ve been thinking about this for a while and wondering how I was going to do it, then I saw red dead online was basically being ignored (most likely not, but the fans are in the dust about it, including me) so this was basically a good starting point for me. So first I thought about here there were a lot of alien references in RDR 2’s story mode, so I started my “leak” on that. I made up a somewhat believable story that my “friend from rockstar” told me. (Real original right?) then I put in small details I thought in my head would make sense such as “Still playing as Arthur”. But I stayed real vague just to build up some speculation. Then I thought of what I wanted out of a story dlc. I wanted a remake of the first game with all of the bells and whistles of the recent game. And the rest is pretty much history, so I expected it to be ignored and the next day I open my reddit and I see the biggest notification list I have ever had! I was simply amazed at how my bullshit rumors could blow up, a couple of hours later I went on the google app, and it has tabs with news, and at the very top was this article by comicbook (who report on every rumor from this subreddit almost) https://comicbook.com/gaming/2019/07/20/red-dead-redemption-remake-ps4-ps5-xbox-scarlett-rockstar-games/ And that’s when things got real, so I let people build more speculation for a couple of days. And sure enough, one of the gaming sites I read on reported on it https://www.gamesradar.com/red-dead-redemption-dlc-aliens-leak/ . Then I was curious of the YouTube videos being made, and sure enough there were! https://youtu.be/fF6pCsZNIf4 this was at the very top! And he drank every sip of my tea, and judging by his comment section, they didn’t! I was wondering if there were videos were people didn’t believe me and sure enough there was one by Fizhy! https://youtu.be/kRmVK_9xXsw . Then I realized I was getting to many peoples hopes up, so I decided to write this post. And through this experiment I learned that some people will believe anything that someone says if it sounds believable. And also that mass media is a powerful tool, over 70k people atleast have seen this fake leak that I wrote, and I’m glad that a majority of people saw through it! From now on the original leak will stay up unless the mods say otherwise but I will link this to clarify it was all fake! Thanks for listening!

Edit: I did not format links so copy and post please!

Red Dead Redemption 1 remake

Rockstar Games is remaking Red Dead Redemption 1 could this mean that this will be the last game Rockstar will make on PS4 & Xbox One

‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ DLC Rumor Claims An Alien Undead Nightmare Is Coming

Taken from: https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2019/07/22/red-dead-redemption-2-dlc-rumor-claims-an-alien-undead-nightmare-is-coming/#81d6a3c7eeb9

"A rumor is currently making the rounds regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 and the holy grail of video game projects: Rockstar actually deciding to make single player story DLC for its games again.

The rumor, from a throwaway reddit account who claims to know an artist at Rockstar (serious red flags abound here, so beware), says that Red Dead will be releasing alien-centric DLC in early in 2020, similar to the standalone zombie Undead Nightmare adventure for the original game, and you'd be playing once again as Arthur.

Undead Nightmare was a standalone entry separate from the main game that had John Marston fighting zombies, and is heralded as one of the better pieces of DLC in gaming history, so Rockstar doing a follow-up does not seem out of the question. However, this is the same Rockstar who sold 100 million copies of GTA 5 and didn’t make a single scrap of story DLC for it, and even alien DLC was rumored there with the easter eggs found in that game.

If you’ve been paying attention, there are actually a whole bunch of alien easter eggs hidden in Red Dead Redemption 2 as well, from ancient writings hinting at aliens to literally just…flying saucers appearing in the game in certain places at certain times: The bulk of this throwaway account’s rumor is actually focused on what he says is a full remake of Red Dead Redemption 1 that’s coming, not just a remaster, but an entire remake complete with all the gameplay systems of RDR2 in place. Supposedly this was supposed to arrive for the ten year anniversary of the game, but it ran into issues, and this source says as much as two-thirds of the Red Dead Online team is now finishing up remake.

Look, this is about as questionable as sourcing for something like this gets, so that needs to be made clear.

However, I do think we’re in a somewhat unique situation with Red Dead Redemption 2, in that I don’t believe that Red Dead Online is performing nearly as well as GTA Online has or even currently is, all these years later. If that’s the case, sure, I can buy the idea that Rockstar could be devoting resources to producing $30 standalone alien DLC, or even re-releasing the original game, though that part sounds like an even taller tale than the DLC concept.

I certainly hope this is true, because it’s been beyond bizarre for Rockstar to focus relentlessly on nothing but online content for GTA and now Red Dead for the past decade or so when it was such a force in making quality story DLC previously. Perhaps they’re going back to those roots now that one of their online modes is not performing as well as they hoped.

Again, this all has to be taken with a great deal of caution since there’s no way to confirm it and this sounds extremely sketchy at best. But I would not be surprised if at least some measure of this did come to pass down the road, given the situation Rockstar currently finds itself in with Red Dead. We’ll have to wait and see.

Epic Games Store is failing

I work at Epic Games here in NC, I can't say exactly what I do, don't want to get fired.

I want gamers to know most of us don't like what's going on with the exclusives. It's fucked up and it's not even working.

The higher-ups keep saying how well it's going but then we talk to coworkers and hear differently. Growth is slow and games aren't selling well. New accounts only grab the free games and never spend any money. People in marketing are saying non-exclusives like Bloodlines 2 only sell about 5% of all PC copies on our store. Exclusives are selling below expectations too. We're losing money because no game has reached the minimum guaranteed sales. I've heard Borderlands 3 preorders on PC are only 10% of console preorders! It's the last chance Epic has. If it fails on PC, every publisher will abandon us. They're already pissed off at that sale fuckup.

Now the bosses moved some developers back to Fortnite and UE. Tencent lost faith too, they want Fortnite profits for themselves, not spent on exclusives losing money. Even PC Gamer stopped writing positive news because it's too unpopular.

Maybe after Borderlands 3 and Outer World this will be the end for the store. We tried and we failed hard.

Rockstar Games Logo

Did anyone noticed on Twitter that the Rockstar Games logo went from Black & Red to its normal setting could this mean something is happening pretty soon???

Zelda Breath of the Darkness will be released along with Nintendo Switch 2 between late 2020 and early 2021

New account here: I have a friend who is one of the environment artists over at rockstar (yes I know that is literally what everyone says on this sub, so if you don’t believe me go ahead and leave a mean comment)

He is working on Red Dead Redemption 2 story DLC it’s in the middle of development right now and is slated for a release of Q1 2020. It is alien centered like people have rumored (this was hinted by the ufo Easter egg). You’re still Arthur in this DLC. That’s I was told about that. And for Red Dead Redemption remastered is not actually a remaster, it’s a remake. All the new features from the new game are going to be imported into RDR 1 plus the map is getting expanded a bit to make it more vast (rdr 2 map is not apart of this because it is not needed in the story, it’s mostly just making the desert bigger.) Rob has came back and recorded new lines of dialogue to help connect the two stories (References to Arthur and events of rdr 2 naturally) it was originally slated for the 10 year anniversary of RDR 1 but bugs have hindered the development a bit so they’ve shifted 2/3 of the Red Dead Online team to the Remake (hence the lack of an update as of yet.) And it’s currently in the timeframe of being released either December 2020- January of 2021. Could be earlier but who knows at this point. As I’ve said believe me or not. But you’ll see soon enough!

After Stadia's AMA, a lot of questions were given vague answers.

I think that a lot of it affirms my earlier theory that Stadia is going to use YouTube to promote the service. I know a lot of you think they can't, because of self moderation and other policies, but I think that they'll end up promoting Stadia on YouTube a lot like FaceBook promotes messenger on their site.

Here's a video showing why I think that from the AMA, along with a few other topics.

I'm pretty sure ISPs, at least in the UK, are using media to deter people from using Google Stadia

I did some digging on a study I saw published by Eurogamer and Broadband Genie, and I found some really interesting stuff suggesting that the questions were expecting a certain answer and that the study was funded by ISPs.

Someone At THQ Accidentally Rolled Out Unfinished Darksiders 3 DLC 2

Someone at THQ Nordic seems to have mixed up Darksiders 3 updates. The result? Darksiders 3 DLC 2 rolled out early. The DLC 2 is in an unfinished state evident by its missing textures, unremoved placeholder text, and lack of background audio.

4,000+ devs submitted games to be on Stadia, and I think the reason is because YouTube is going to change how they treat gaming videos

Google Stadia is making a lot of changes in the gaming industry, and I also think they're going to give Stadia Let's Plays more freedom on YouTube. Here's a video explaining how it all links together!

What GTA 6 might be like and why

Some days ago we had a "leak" here in this subreddit which sounded very authentic, with certain way too detailed and specific points which made us question if the leak could actually be true. Unfortunalety it was debunked as fake and deleted and here is a piece of my response, why it might not be true and what the next GTA could be like:

- in a Digital Trends interview from 2012 the former Rockstar producer Leslie Benzies said:
"... at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas, and in that context reimagining Vice City would be very interesting."

This is was what he said in 2012, at a time which could possibly be the point where GTA6 pre production started. Now with better technology, new consoles incoming and games which are getting bigger and bigger, it could be something that Rockstar could pull off, even if they would have to split it into two or three games due to size limitations and which will be released every year, maybe even Rockstars take on "games as a service" (which I am not a big fan of, tbh). Some people already did some pretty awesome concept maps and even looking at them gets me hyped.
Listen, since I read this interview with Leslie Benzies, this is my wet GTA fantasy dream even though it´s a little bit off topic but I have to write it down:
Imagine a miniature version of the USA with all GTA cities connected by roads with a lot of rural regions, small villages like in GTA:SA, forrests, mountains, deserts, snowy areas.
In the south east there could be reworked Vice City, which could be a mixture of Miami and New Orleans, in the north east Libery City, similar to the GTA 4 version and including the surrounding countryside like the Hudson Valley with a lot of lakes. Going West there could be a new city which could be a condensed version of Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, just putting the best bits of these cities together and create a new GTA city called Capitol City or something like that. Going north there could be modern day North Yankton. Going further west we could reach the State of San Andreas, which will be a mixture of the GTA San Andreas and GTA 5 map. Los Santos and the whole state as we know it from GTA 5 with modernized graphics + completely reworked versions of San Fierro and Las Venturas.
If this is something anywhere near to what Rockstar is actually working on this would be their magnum opus and a comprehensible reason why the time gaps between their releases are getting bigger and bigger. There would be no need to call it by a number, it could just simply go by the name "GTA USA" or "GTA World" and could combine everything we have seen in GTA history in the past 18 years.
This may sound like a fiction too good to be true but that interview really made me hopeful that someday we will probably see something similar to what I described in my stupid idea.

POSSIBLE GRAND THEFT AUTO 6 RELEASE!!

Grand Theft Auto 6 Timeline: Since Read Dead Announced, there had been a pattern in milestones ever since...

2010 - RDR Released 1 Year Later - 2011 - GTA5 Trailer 2 Years - 2013 - GTA5 Released 3 Years - 2016 - RDR2 Trailer 2 Years - 2018 - RDR2 Released 1 Year - 2019 - Possible first GTA6 Trailer?? 2 Years - 2021 - Possible GTA 6 Release??!

If this trend is correct, we may possibly see the game sooner than you think! This would also prove Rockstar’s Door Easter Egg at LSIA in GTA 5 and what Strauss Zelnick was saying with the shortened gaps. After all it has been a long 8 years since GTA 5 (to the possible GTA 6 Release)

How does rockstar prevent any leaks?

A 1,000-person team developed GTA 5, so how does rockstar manage to prevent ANY leaks on GTA 6?

Consider they've been working on the game since 2013-2014. Not a single employee, from a team of 1000+, has said a word about the game in 5 years.

Obviously some employees have left rockstar over this 5 year period, so why wouldnt any former employees (anonymously) leak details on the most anticipated game in history?

I understand that they compartmentalise the development of the game. But still, if a graphic artist is working on a map, they'll obviously know where the map is based off, even if they aren't told any other details about the game.

The only reason I can think of, is Rockstar monitors employees communications like the CIA, and employees have signed an NDA stating they'll be sued to oblivion if they were to leak details.

TRON GAME DETAILS

Open World Tron game RPG in development at Ubisoft’s World Wide Studios, development first began at Ubisoft Shanghai around 3+ years ago but production is really ramping up now with other studios to assist. The Single player and the online are connected, same characters and the same world will interact with the player. Very much a traditional Ubisoft open world game with the mechanics, and can be played with friends. Heavy emphasis on verticality and transportation, that being the Light Cycles and Jets, which can be called anytime in the open world. Combat is very “skill based” and you can die or be “derezed”very fast. Different weapons such as the ID disks, swords, shields, guns etc, play a role in combat. The Character is planned to be a reflection of the player and can be heavily customized in multiple ways. The Online is very expansive, and a arena style online PVP is being developed. The Game is big and beautiful, and the aesthetic is closer to the movie Tron: Leagcy than the original. Disney and Ubisoft plan this game to be a big new Triple A AA game and a big seller. The internal launch date is expected to be 2021 but that is subject to change. The game is expected to be on current gen but focus is now on Next-gen platforms.

Project xCloud "Console" is in Active Development, Will Replace Lockhart

Here's the link to the full details. Apparently, Microsoft is working on an xCloud Box which will be the entry point into next-generation gaming.

[LEAK] GTA Next information. -> REAL <-

Hello everyone, I don't wanna be the same lame guy as the other one who posted and I have some GTA Next information! I got it via a personal private source who doesn't want his/her name mentioned so I will call that person Riley for the sake of this message/post.

If you wanna believe this or not, this is the only information I got from Riley:

First of all, like everyone confirmed till this date. The current project name is indeed Project America's. But does take place in the present day, not 30 years ago like speculated by a leaker some days ago. There are not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 protagonists. 3 man, 1 woman. There currently are no names for them, only 'concept names' which are Braydon Travi's, Julian Fargot, Zack Protavin and Lynna Fertigan. This is like Albert was Michael's first name. There will also be a new city. Ghichago, and the game takes place in famous city Chicago. Which is what no one, even myself could think after all the other leaks. I also got the info that we will get 17 radio station's, a enourmus number of car's at the release of the game, and a story mode as big as GTAV's one. I can confirm this 0%, but this is the small amount of info I got from Riley.

GTA 6 (This is a big one)

decrypted emails into txt files from proxy leaks from my buddy's laptop, employee at R* North in Edinburgh

{§P/ Grand Theft Auto VI Underline 1 NICK ADESSO Prologue %%%%% - Prison Break - Cinematic prison life opening Focus in on cell A11 Nick and Luis (Sanchez) Smuggled shotgun inside concrete wall -----CUTSCENES---- PLAYER CONTROL Escape the prison, shootout. From what I understand, you play as a Nick Adesso (Prologue name anyway) Prologue is a prison escape It takes place in Vice City ('VC'?)

Thoughts?

More GTA 6 infomation.

Alright, a couple things before we start, that other post gaining traction is true for the most part, there are some serious details he is missing out on, so lemme tell you.

(If your looking for Bully, all the stuff he said about the game is true)

GTA 6 Is based in the ENTIRE universe of GTA, that means remarstered Vice city, liberty city, And san andreas, the whole shabang, along side this a london and paris themed county type area will be fully enterable, not only that, the game will be 800 hours long.

The story goes like this, a man named Morphius shoots a local gang called billys boys, after this, a nuke detonates in sand andreas, causing the events of crysis 4.
