According to VGC, Nintendo will re-master and rerelease most past Mario games for this year’s 35th anniversary, as well as making multiple new games including a new paper Mario.

According to multiple sources, VGC claims that Nintendo will be remastering Mario’s extensive game catalog and rereleasing them to the Nintendo Switch in 2020. More than that, they go in to claim that Nintendo is releasing multiple new Mario games this year, one of which will be a new entry in the Paper Mario series.

I think this makes complete sense. For one, we have heard rumors of a new Paper Mario swirling around from multiple sources at the beginning of the year. Also, Emily Rogers has repeatedly said on her twitter that this year will be a “good year to be a plumber.”

Overall, I think it’s looking like a good year to be a platforming and Mario fan. I also think that we could see Mario Odyssey 2 this year, as it would just make the most sense to be one of the “multiple new Mario games” coming this year.
