Shin Megami Tensei will release it's NES and SNES titles titles on the Switch's digital storefront late summer - early fall of 2020

I've been informed by a credible source that all the original Super Famicom/SNES titles in the SMT series will be released & localized for the Switch, exclusively in digital format. There has been no talk of any other games in Atlus' collection showing up, and also nothing pertaining to the DS or 3DS titles rearing their head.

Prices are set for $7.99 each, per individual game. There will be no bundle.

This is NOT a remaster. It will be available only in it's original 4:3 ratio. No other details were given.

Upcoming Gta Online Dlc.

Hello all confirmation in on an upcoming Gta online Dlc set for late January. There are two possible themes for this update including the much anticipated Cops and Robbers Dlc as well as a sequel to the Casino heist, including the diamond take originally removed from the first score. Netting you an extra $750,000 dollar grab compared to bullion.

Through sources hearing talks of a possible theme set for summer time with the title “Midnight Club”. This Dlc is based around all new tuning options for you and your fellow counterparts, along with an all new drag strip location and new Los Santos tuner garages.

Fallout Remaster!?!?!?

Dec 31st was the release date back in Feb o the Amazon placeholder leak. Wheres is at?

Rockstar Games is going to shut down soon

This is a really big claim and I do in fact have evidence to back it up. I'll edit this post later when the evidence will be in my hands. I cannot reveal my position at r*. Doing so will make it easier for higher ups to track me down.

They are planning to release gta 6 as their last game and shutting down. This is the reason why GTA 6 will be produced at such a large scale. They want to shut down by making the best game ever. The details and story line and map is going to be on another level. The main reasons why they're being shut down are:

a) creativity is at its lowest in the studio now and Housers don't want to ruin their reputation by milking red dead and gta series.

b) og employees are leaving because of the toxic work environment. new employees are also leaving because of the ridiculous crunch times.

c) top management is unhappy with the terribly long gaps with the recent two titles and soon it will be getting longer. shareholders are starting to loose their mind over their zero activity.

GTA 5 online mode will be shut down next year and GTA 6's online mode will be handled by 2k for few years before dropping the ball.

Rumor: Dualshock 4 Will Work With PS5

Most PlayStation 5 games will support hardware backward compatibility which means your DS4 controllers will work. This is good news for those who only recently invested in a scuff controller, that expensive piece of gaming gear won’t be rendered obsolete in the next-generation.

The PlayStation 5 dev kits already support Dualshock 4 as evident by the leaked dev kit images from a few months ago.

Rockstars next game is neither GTA6 nor a medieval game.

The source, an ex-employee at Rockstar North, says that they are currently working on a remastering of LA Noire which has a scheduled release of Q2 2021.

They also say that there are no plans of GTA6 as of yet. They have however looked at a medieval game in the past and even began to plan it shortly after the release of the original Red Dead Redemption however it was scrapped so that they could focus on the release of GTA5.

Sad news.

It is with great sadness to inform you that a fan favourites sequel from 2006 has been permanently suspended.

There is no telling if this decision will be reversed in time however it does not seem likely.

Next-Gen boxing game.

Is it too much to ask for a next-gen boxing game? It has been nearly 10 years since the last title, and that was on last-gen console (360 & PS3) any insider knowledge if anything is happening anything soon? Surely with the emergence of the new crop of boxing stars over the last 5 years, some developer must be licking their lips?

Weekly request and discussion thread - December 30, 2019

Monday 30/12/2019 weekly post

Hi guys, we are starting to test this idea of a weekly post allowing for smaller, less specific content and general discussion. The thread will be created every Monday morning around this time (GMT) and pinned to the top of the subreddit. Please use this thread for content that may not require an individual post, such as requests of potential leaks and rumours to prevent subreddit clutter. At the request of other users in the subreddit we have made this weekly post for your use. We also encourage discussion about the subreddit in general, maybe you have a suggestion for the subreddit? Or a general question, if so feel free to use this thread for that as well. We also have a section down below of weekly highlights from the subreddit. Big project for an open world franchise in the works for late January to mid February!

I can confirm that there is a huge project underway for a major open world AAA tile in the works for late January to mid February. I can not disclose the name of the title as it was not mentioned due to the sources being under very strict nda’s, however I believe we all know what this this hinting at.

The deadline for this project is mid February so stay tuned for more news over the coming weeks.

Info on the upcoming Rockstar title

Info regarding the upcoming Rockstar title, Project America’s. All sources shall remain anonymous in the below info as of the individual agreements signed.

Rockstars new upcoming title Project America’s first began production in late 2012 however from 2014 to 2018 the project was suspended numerous times due to involvement of all accompanying Rockstar offices on the release of RDR2.

Project America’s will be situated in 2 main cities Vice City and a simplified version of Liberty City, as well as Blaine County esc landscapes preset around the map. There will also be 2 non playable areas that will feature in the story Guarma (Cuba) and an unknown fictional take on Mexico City.

You will begin the story as a low in life criminal in Liberty City scraping by committing robberies and minor drug deals, through missions you will meet with the secondary protagonist a female working on behalf of a young Martin Madrazo and his crime family. It is through the meeting of the second protagonist which will allow you to begin your ascent to the top of the criminal food chain. Names for characters are currently unknown and may change due to the games current alpha state.

Unlike its predecessor Project America’s online mode will be available to players on day one release. The story will begin in the early 70’s before finishing in present day where online will be based.

Throughout the story vehicles, clothing and buildings will alter with the changing decades. Online clothing stores will also sell clothing from the altering decades as well as vehicles from each time period.

Not confirmed however specified from sources a new possible weather engine which will consist of never before seen precipitation patterns, flooding and new npc responses to the changing weather.

A trailer is set for late 2020( September-October) with a planned release date for late September 2021 however due to delays this may be pushed back.

I work at Take Two, Something is coming soon...

Hey Everyone,

For the last few weeks a very renown Digital Media company I work at that is apart of Take Two has been very deep into production for creating a reveal trailer of some sorts for a very well known Huge Open World Video Game Franchise. I can not disclose the company or AAA Title itself as myself and many many others are under a very strict NDA. Annoying but necessary.

Many people, myself included, have been particularly responsible for creating this. We have been using Development kits from software and hardware company’s. The absolute deadline for this is the end of January, I assume what we have been working on will be revealed sometime in February. There are rumours that It will be shown off in conjunction with an extremely well known Software and Hardware Company, via their products we have been using to create this.

I am very excited for everyone to see it, so stay tuned. I apologise to moderators as I am unable to validate this claim as of right now.

Test Drive Unlimited 3 (Project Sunrise) - TDU3 Leak

(Sorry if my english isn't that good)

I'm a french developer and has been in the industry for a couple of years. I mainly worked on mobile games. Currently working at Ubisoft Paris. And have many friends from different french companies since i have worked at several studios.

I have some information about the next TDU3

Published by Bigben Games

Developed by KT Racing

Map: Just like TDU1 and 2 TDU3 will feature another exotic map. This time South America. I cant say which location exactly because i wasnt told that. But i think Brazil is the next map. Map will be a little bigger than The Crew. They wanted to make it around same size at Fuel but that will not happen.

Cars: There should be around 90 cars at launch but i think that number has dropped down due to some licensing issues. TDU3 will feature old sports cars, modern sports car, electrics, hybrids and more.

Gameplay: Gameplay is jjust like previous TDU games. There are no limits. You'll start off just like in TDU2 where you have 3 cars to choose from. I believe your choices are Renault Clio RS, Mitsubishi Evo (dont know which one) and Polo GTi. Houses are also in the game and there are alot of houses in this game. I dont have exact number but its more than TDU1 and 2 combined. Physics system same as WRC 8 and much more improved visuals since they are rebuilding some of the KT Engine.

MP: Multiplayer will be a big aspect of the game. Kinda like GTA Online the devs will mainly focus on multiplayer. Simgleplayer will obviously have updates but online will have more frequent and bigger updates than singleplayer such as new exciting game modes and etc.

The developers are currently aiming for a late 2020 (which i dont think they will be able to do looking at the current state of the game) release which means the game will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X. PS4 and Xbox one verisons could happen. The game will be an Epic Store exclusive for a year and then it will be available for Steam and Google Stadia.

I think i can squeeze some more info. So if you have any questions about the game feel free to ask but i might not be able answer all of it.

Anybody got any RE3 Remake leaks?

Deleted post about GTA VI

I had taken a screenshot of the supposed "leak" that someone posted on here the other day about GTA VI before it was removed/deleted.

Take this with a mighty grain of salt. I doubt this person is being honest, but I thought that I would post this anyway for the people that didn't get to see it.

Final Fantasy VII Demo will be announced very soon.

I did QA testing for RDR2 and GTA 6, AMA while you can

I did QA testing for RDR 2 and GTA 6, the latter starting preproduction in 2014 I believe. I was using a PS5 devkit. The game entered large scale development sometime around late 2016 during the timeframe Rockstar began marketing Red Dead Redemption 2. Half the studios went full force on RDR, the other half on GTA6.

Some background first: RDR2 was a HUGE project for Rockstar and apparently a ton of morale was lost. The game makers weren’t even sure if they were making a game that was fun to play as the studio heads kept pushing everyone to incorporate all these “state of the art” immersive qualities and attention to detail, especially in the wildlife and visuals department. Overall RDR2 was a daunting project that suck the soul out of just about everyone. However, the Rockstar guys were pretty adamant about returning to the series and revisiting the “Van Der Linde” legacy they liked to call it. They were very fond of the story they had created for Arthur Morgan. It was essentially their soul game. But RDR2 was also sorta seen as a “test mule” for GTA 6. Even though a ton of passion and blood was put into it, and the producers behind it were more than confident in it being a critical success just off brand and hype alone, they ultimately knew a “techy” game had to be made before GTA 6 just to see where the company's footprint was in the next-gen sphere. Rockstar knew GTA 6 wouldn’t be feasible on PS4 and Xbox One if they wanted to pull off a generation defining GTA title that pushed the bar; they also had RDR2 on their hands.

GTA 5 was also kinda seen as their “mainline” GTA since it originally came out on the PS3 & XB360’s deathbed but had a ton of staying power even today as we’re approaching the 9th generation. Overhead some mates at the studio joking about GTA 5 being a “one-man casino” for Rockstar. The game that just “keeps on giving.” Anyways, RDR2’s engine is sorta a precursor to GTA 6. You might’ve noticed just how amazingly crafted and realistic the volumetric clouds were in RDR2’s skybox despite only ever being able to take in the skies in one mission (the hot air balloon one). This is because GTA 6 is reusing/building off the skybox in RDR2 since the game has a heavy emphasis on air travel. I’ve flown a military jet in the game (called the Sunsiege) and the world from above is truly a marvel: what Rockstar managed to achieve is extraordinary and will push the open world genre to unseen limits. It almost felt like a privilege being able to play the game, even in an unfinished state, before the world is ready to experience it. The game on ground level is still in early stages and wasn’t all that pretty, I can only imagine the final product though. All the main roads and streets were laid out but not everything was completed or fully detailed, lots of bland geography here and there - the artists still have a lot of work to touch up.

But the map is huge, like stupendously huge, hence the game’s emphasis on air travel. It makes GTA 5 look like a schoolyard playground. There are an array of atmospheric effects that bring out the life in everything. Light pollution, hurricane winds, morning fog, etc. I've never seen an open world game this realistic before.

Map: The playable game territory encompasses two major cities. Carcer City, which is sorta this dirty East Coast area based on Boston, MA - and Vice City, based on Miami Florida. Every individual county is named as well, I can’t remember the names right now (I think Scout County was one) The game is also divided into three states. I spent more time in Carcer since I found it to be the more interesting city, it is however easy to get lost in since a lot of the roads are so spirally and don’t always follow a classic grid pattern. The satire surrounding some of the historic US landmarks I discovered got a laugh out of me, I’ve encountered some deviant statues in the Charlestown knockoff area. I was told a historic tour would be a side attraction in the game. I also fast traveled via blue line train which took me to the airport area. There is also an abundance of towns, shanties, waterfronts, suburbs, hideouts and wilderness between the two cities, and a military base in the Florida region where I stole my jet. I did a couple fly overs but I didn’t get to digest the map in its entirety on foot. If you fly up high enough, you get this atmospheric bloom effect, think Google Earth. The countryside sorta transitions from Massachusetts-esque farmland and seasides (fishing is a minigame, didn’t get to play it), stretches of red oak forest and freeways treading through fields and towns, to marshy grassland, and eventually a swampy Florida countryside not unlike the bayou from RDR2, just way bigger and less misty. It’s a very long and gradual transition between the two cities but it’s a little awkward traveling from Boston to Miami without any other major US cities in between save some small towns. It's still well realized even in an unfinished state. There are also small chunks of islands based on the Keys (dubbed the “Chain” in GTA 6’s world) connected via a long highway based on the 7 Mile Bridge (i had lots of fun trying to survive a cop chase while crossing the entire bridge, which is really only like 2 miles long in the actual game). The aesthetic of VC’s area is very similar to the bayou and Gaurma from RDR2 (again, think “test mule”). The water effects are on par with Sea of Thieves, just stunning. There is underwater exploration as well but I didn’t spend too much time below the surface. Overall the map design is the most authentic yet in a Rockstar game. It doesn’t feel as gamey as RDR2 or GTA 5 where biomes felt compressed next to each other. They really went all out and it shows. I felt very overwhelmed exploring such a huge and richly detailed game world, I can't even remember everything. So many roads and huge spaces, it'll take many long hours to memorize this map without relying on the radar.

I didn’t get to play any minigames or story missions, in fact, I don’t even think the character I controlled was the actual protagonist. He looked like a generic NPC model, no voice overs or lines. Just an avatar to explore the world and test the game with. That isn’t to say the story isn’t in the works, it's well into production. I just didn’t get to play any of it. I do know that multiple protagonists are a thing, two of them might be siblings(?). One of them is an undercover cop or something (think Departed movie). Apparently the groundwork for mission design has been completely revamped. You can permanently abandon some missions or take different routes that sprout different consequences. Each protagonist can manufacture their own story beats, but in the end the overall storyline will stay intact so it’s still somewhat linear. Missions are mostly setpiece based from what I’ve been told. Again, I didn’t actually get to play any story missions but a fellow tester gave me a basic outline of it.

Lots of newly modeled cars too, I did spot a couple OG’s like the Sabre GT. The game sorta has this reboot aesthetic if that makes sense. A lot of samey qualities that make up a GTA game, but more detailed than ever. I saw a newer looking Lamborghini on Ocean Side that I could tell was supposed to be an infernus, even though it was a different model than the one featured in GTA 4 and 5. I didn’t see any returning vehicles from the GTA Online expansions, like I said all the core vehicle designs seem to be rebooted with the exception of a few vintage cars like the Sabre. Gunplay felt somewhat unfinished when I played it, almost identical to GTA 5’s with a clunky cover system. I’ve been told it’s gonna get retooled eventually. Running and climbing animations also aren’t 100% complete yet, sorta these placeholder animations borrowed from either GTA 5 or RDR2. Driving also feels like GTA 5 in the state I played it. Everything gameplay wise was placeholdery. I’ve been told the map is the priority right now and the gameplay mechanics are still in the process of being refactored to provide a “more immersive experience.” Although I was told first person will be included, it wasn’t ready or available in the version I played. No radio stations either when I played, or ambient tracks. My biggest takeaway was the open world. It is insane, I can’t understate it enough. The game is absolutely titanic. I can only imagine it in its finished state. I’m not sure what Rockstar’s ultimate vision is with this game. Mechanically it’s still very GTA, but it is a technological beast. A splendor of modern game design and a Hollywood budget. I don’t even wanna know how much money they poured into it.

HUD: basic circular radar like in RDR2 and GTA 4, seemed very beta-ish. Generic stock text fonts for vehicle names and ammo count, seems like they haven’t picked a font yet. Weapon wheel is back with generic black&white placeholder images for the weapons I was able to use (AK47, Pump shotgun, a glock, baseball bat; to name a few).

Police: very robust and tactical AI. Apparently the devs are pushing this new AI trick called “Paired AI” where teams of adversaries like NOOSE agents or cops can split into teams of two to flank the player. They programmed some sort of buddy-trust system for cops to communicate realistically and feel more like a team. Something they aimed for but couldn’t quite achieve in GTA 5. Didn’t really notice it any of the policies shootouts I had. What I did notice was a team of NOOSE guys cover-walking side by side with a slowly rolling swat van. Felt straight out of a Hollywood movie. NOOSE can also use riot shields and tear gas via grenade launcher. Police will sometimes open the trunk of their cruiser to pull out an AR or shotgun. Lots of realistic touches like that. 6 stars is also back, then the military spawns in. It takes a while for them to arrive, to give the player some prep time, they actually travel from the military base in real time to confront the player. They are very challenging once they start using jets. You can also disarm police with certain melee prompts.

Final impressions: really feels like Rockstar’s ultimate game, a game so big and realistic they could retire in peace and never have to make another GTA. I just don’t see how they can top this, they really went all out on the open world. I can’t wait to see it in its final form when all the detail, polish and mechanics are complete. The wait is worth it.

TL;DR: I QA tested the gameplay mechanics and exploration in early stages of GTA 6. I saw and did a lot of things. The map is huge.

Anyway, that’s all I’ll share for now. Not sure if anyone will even catch this. I’m using a throwaway for obvious reasons. Just thought a leak would be fun to sate the fans a bit. I am confident I won’t get caught, so I’m not worried too much about that part. This will probably get removed, unless Rockstar wants to be coy and ignore this massive leak. I will answer as many comments as I can. Ask anything you want. Cheers!

Google is Going to Create a VR Headset that Runs Off Stadia

So this is more of a theory, so I apologize if this isn't the right place, but too many things line up for it to not be a possibility. Stadia is investing more in their in-house studio, Google owns HTC Vive and Stadia, and competition in 2020 is going to be tight for cloud-based gaming.

Not sure of a timeline, but I hope it's announced soon. And maybe it'll push Stadia to fix their input lag, since that's kind of a must-have for VR.

Here's a video with more info. https://youtu.be/i6qExgVB_mA

Linkedin Leak:Knives Out Battle Royal(Netease Games) coming to PS5

I found this yesterday. And no this is no way related to the movie Knives Out by Rian Johnson.

https://twitter.com/bogorad222/status/1207733827218608130

some Bully 2 info.

Throwaway so I don't get in trouble.

bully 2 has not been cancelled. it's become less of a priority as of right now because sam and dan houser have become excited with the idea they have for gta 6 so most of the focus has shifted to that and there's a skeleton crew working on it so it's not being ignored. gta 6 is currently in the plans to be announced in late 2020 for an early/mid 2021 release.

the current plan at the moment is gta 6 then bully 2 then an original I.P.

Should they change the name of this sub Reddit to something more appropriate?

Should they change the name of this sub Reddit to something more appropriate?

Recently all I started seeing a pattern that people come here to speculate about rumors and leaks of unannounced but people also have questions about potential leaks so shouldn't the name be something like GameRevealDiscussion or something like that? It will open up more discussions while still allowing for leaks and maybe even lead to less fake leaks. This is just my opinion so I would like to know what you think.

The long time rumor of who was the announcer of the Super Monkey Ball franchise has been discovered.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=inUkotGb-K4

Youtuber Nick Robinson traveled to Japan and got into contact with a few of the cast members of the early 2000's game Super Monkey Ball to find out who the mysterious announcer's voice was, only to fall short. Brian Matt later contacted Nick to prove that he, indeed, was the voice he was looking for all along.

A Summary of the TGA leaks and rumours

•New Batman Game (Likely) Teased on Twitter by devs

•The Wolf Among Us 2 (Very Likely) Telltale is back up and running and pictures were leaked from rehearsals

•Master Chief in Smash (Maybe) Audio was leaked but could have been fake

•GTA 6 (VERY unlikely) GTA V still gets updates right? Doesn't seem like the right time. Plus Rockstar usually just announces their games out of nowhere anyway I think, not at events and stuff.

•New Splinter Cell Game (Maybe) Apparenlty been in development for a while

•Fable IV (Maybe) Also been in development for a little bit

•Next Gen Console reveals (Probably not)

I am not claiming these to be my leaks. These are just ones I've seen here and there. If I have missed any please throw them down in the replies.

Any news on assassin's creed kingdom or Ragnarok

Any guys

Maybe we should reduce the amount of 'any news about X?' posts?

What do you guys think? Personally, I think making those kinds of posts are pointless and a waste of time. If someone's got leaks or rumors to share, they should just make a post about them - whether they're made up nonsense or not. Asking if anyone's heard news about any random sequel to some obscure game amounts to little more than people going "what would you like to see in this game/what is your wishlist for this game?"

Batman Shadows Edition and The Wolf Among Us 2

https://i.imgur.com/QIcNI0F.jpg

Batman Shadows Edition releases in January. Both Telltale Batman Season 1 and 2 together with small visual overhauls. You can now visit the Batcave whenever you want in both games. You can also customize Bruce Wayne in the Batcave, for example different style suits and can have a beard. You can unlock some more interesting cosmetics by finding new secret collectables. For example finding all collectables will let you play as Bruce in his underwear the whole game if you choose. Batman has no appearance cosmetics to collect, just gear (like the grapple gun)

The Wolf Among Us 2 is revealed right after, it gets a short 30 second teaser. No info given at all other than it being a thing.

Rumored list of games to be announced tomorrow at TGA

Konami contacted various UK devs over the creation of VR experiences for series other than Silent Hill

I am the same OP from this post but I forgot my password almost immediately.

I can't vouch for other developers but before meetings were scrapped, various Konami titles were also on offer for VR experiences to at least one UK developer.

  • Zone of the Enders
  • Bomberman
  • Gradius
  • A baseball series I'm unfamiliar with
  • Untitled Ninja Game
  • Contra

I understand these were not full games but shorter experiences in the style of a Doom VFR.

Any news about the new Evil Dead game?

I haven't heard or seen anything about it since bruce campbell said it was in development with him voicing Ash.

Is shadow of Rome just dead? no plans on capcom' side of remastering it?

I loved this ps2 game and nothing ever filled the hole of SOR when I couldn't play it anymore. would love to see a remaster of this unknown masterpiece

Any last minute leaks/predictions for Smash at the Game Awards?

Despite Verg and Sabi I’m still gunning (get it?) for DoomGuy as F5.

This post is mainly asking - who do you want to see? What would the trailer be like? When in the show would it happen? Etc.

Just interested, want to start a conversation that doesn’t devolve into referring to one another as (character you want in)fags.

Any news of the returning/ new EA Sports Franchises?

About a month ago in the annual report, EA said that there are multiple new sports series in the making ( at least one of which has a release of this coming year). I don't follow them or linkden very often, so has there been any news, leaks, trademarks by EA/ EA Sports lately?

Next-gen Xbox codenamed Anaconda to target 12 teraflops (Lockhart: 4TF), 16GB RAM (13GB for games, 3GB for the OS) and will also feature a NVMe SSD to drastically reduce load times

Information via Windows Central:

Microsoft is gearing up to reveal a two-pronged attack for next-gen consoles, complete with a more affordable SKU, dubbed "Lockhart," and a more beastly premium SKU, codenamed "Anaconda." We have no idea what the next-gen consoles will look like, or be officially named when the time comes, but we do now have a credible idea of what specs these systems are targeting.

Both Lockhart and Anaconda reportedly sport eight CPU cores targetting around 3.5GHz, with Anaconda reaching a bit higher per core than Lockhart. The relatively modest increase in clock speed over the previous-gen systems may seem mild, but vast improvements to caching, new silicon architecture, and other general bespoke, proprietary optimizations will see Anaconda perform anywhere up to four to five times better than the Xbox One X, if targets are met. We're told that at least Anaconda will guarantee 13GB of RAM for games, with 3GB on the OS a total of 16GB. The X, by comparison, offered a "maximum" of 9GB for games, which often varied based on what the OS was doing. Microsoft also said in its reveal video that the SSD could be used to throw in virtual RAM as necessary. Speaking of which.

One huge focus area for Lockhart and Anaconda is on NVMe SSD proprietary tech, which dramatically decreases load speeds, nigh-on eliminating loading completely. Games with load times anywhere up to a minute will be reduced to mere seconds as a result of these SSDs, and the inclusion of Project XCloud across all Xbox systems will allow you to start gaming via streaming while waiting for games to download locally. Next-gen is all about saving you time, increasing read speeds by gigabytes per second, while also providing cutting-edge visuals that will elevate games to all new heights.

Games with load times anywhere up to a minute will be reduced to mere seconds.

We've been told that while many games will function across generations, next-gen features such as ray tracing for dynamic reflections and the like will most probably be exclusive to Lockhart and Anaconda, requiring new APIs that come as part of Game Core OS (which is also part of the Windows Core OS effort we've been covering). That said, Scarlett will be able to run all previous-gen games that are available on Xbox One today, including backward compatible games as Microsoft has already announced.

When is Mirror's Edge Freefall coming out?

I saw a render online of it today and forgot where it was posted.

MAFIA IV Leaked Customization Details

FIRST POST:
https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/dud6d3/mafia_iv_massive_leak_mafia_ii_remaster/

I will not be discussing story too much here, only where it involves customisation systems. I recently had a good catch up with my former Hangar 13-developer contact, and we discussed a lot of stuff - if anybody knows what customisation systems are in the game, it's him, as he had direct access to a lot of the features I'm about to disclose.

Upon doing their post-mortem on MAFIA III, it was clear that he and his unit on the team wanted to give players more customisation as that was a key feature people wanted in MAFIA III but later got it (somewhat lacking) in a post-launch tacked on update. This time however, it's been built from the start with the game.

  • Haircuts. Think of something like GTAO or the Godfather games in terms of hair choices, plenty to choose from.
  • Clothing. Massive array of choices. They made propriety tools to allow for mass production of AAA-quality clothing options to the player. You can wear suits, casual attire, mix-and-match, it's all up to you, oh and NPCs will apparently comment on your appearance as you pass them in the street (my contact suggested maybe not wearing a blazer with summer-shorts, people tend to laugh at you).
  • Businesses. Think MAFIA 3's DLC Bar Building in terms of customisation choices, but dialed up to 100. ANY business you own in your Empire, you can customise and theme to your liking. If you want a "Swinging Sixties" theme, go for it! If you want a gloomy and shithole looking joint, why not. All up to you.
  • Staff. Again, like the MAFIA 3 DLC, you have to go out and recruit, or hire, staff to keep your businesses thriving while you're out and about. You can hire accountants, bar staff, musicians, etc. - each "class" of employee has stats that improve the more they work, but the more hours they work, the more upkeep they cost. The higher their stat, the more money you make in the long run, a good risk/reward system. Very cool system.
  • Vehicles. This system has been massively overhauled and resembles something like GTA, Forza, The Crew, all the big car games in terms of customisation. You can kinda guess what kinda stuff you can customise.

More MAFIA IV details to follow over the months.

Gta 6 will have an in built libtard sensor using advanced technologies so that any liberals who start the game are automatically booted off.

Possible R3MAKE release date?

Persona 5 Royal listed for PC on Amazon.de

Here the listing

Ive made a capture with wayback

Its simply saying Platform: Windows.

Not sure what sense it makes, since if at all it would probably digital only, but Catherine also has a pc/mac listing here.

Not sure when this listing was created or if its anything, I leave that to better cyber sleuths. Its very curious.

Any potential rumours or leaks about Halo Infinite?

Was curious if there was any spec of news for this game that may be out in the wild

[4chan rumour] Splinter Cell: Fifth Freedom reveal at TGAs. (Ubisoft Barcelona w/assistance from Berlin, Toronto, BlueByte)

I thought this was either a pretty darn good LARP, or potentially legit. (Especially since Ubisoft Spain have been making some strange tweets about Splinter Cell.) The OP claims to be from Ubisoft Blue Byte. I think the interesting part of this rumour is that they give zero details on plot. A lot of fake rumours go into detail about plot and such, which someone at Blue Byte wouldn't know. Instead we got some weirdly excessive breakdowns of multiplayer modes and stuff. And also details on various Ubisoft studios supposedly working on it.

I looked through the /v/ thread and picked out posts that seem to match the OP's writing style. (Little things like using @ instead of at).

Collection of Posts Below (I've also linked to some screenshots of the thread for context to some of the answers):

2 Playstyles (Offensive & Stealth)
- 21 Linear Story Missions (Multiplayer & SplitScreen Coop)
- 16 Side Missions (Multiplayer & SplitScreen Coop)
- Spies vs Mercs (Multiplayer, Lan & Competitive)
- Extract and Escape (Multiplayer, Lan & Competitive)
- Defuse or Eliminate (Multiplayer, Lan & Competitive)
Special destrucable Spies vs Mercs Maps with deployable/destroyable LightSources and Traps which allow for heavy team oriented fights. Mercs can build traps & fortifications, camera's and turrets while spies can hack environments, power grids and merc gadgets and sabotage supply crates.
Classic Ingame Voicechat, Discord/Teamspeak 5 voice Integration
Michael Ironside returns as VA.

Bluebyte only joined the splinter cell team in march so i cant really say alot about the game getting changed. We are mainly here for 3d Assets and props

I can only speculate on that but i think the reason why other employees haven't leaked anything concrete untill now is because we really didn't know if the game was actually in a state that you could call "ready to greenlight" bluebyte and toronto joined right after the anno release and as far as i know the selected few people @ barcelona have been working on the engine all that time before we joined.

With all our releases pushed to next year crunch is at a minimum and morale is high so i guess people are happy enough not to leak.

I joined bluebyte in 2015 so i actually didn't know, i mean i never met the man everything audio related happens in our recording studio in san francisco

I'm not sure desu, bluebyte and ubisoft berlin are only involved in asset and environment creation, aside from the actual assets we don't have alot of info regarding lore or storywriting.
As far as china goes i doubt we're going to do anything that antagonizes the chinese market especially considering that we have studios in shanghai and chengdu. But one thing is clear ubisoft barcelona will not censor anything to appease any global market, they refused to do so with R6 and im sure splinter cell will be the same.

i'm actually not sure what kind of information will be revealed at TGA, as far as i know toronto is working on a cinematic right now. Might only be a teaser/trailer and gameplay during E3.

Breakpoint is Ubisoft paris so i cant comment on that mood whise i can only talk about bluebyte and berlin since im located in germany but considering that we just launched anno at the beginning of the year and berlin is fairly new morale is high.

Well berlin is a fairly new an small studio, berlin currently has 2 teams working on 2 games one is splinter cell and the other one ist just using a alias and unknown.
We at Ubisoft bluebyte are currently mainly working on "Die Siedler" (The Settlers) and we help out with assets on SC.

I'm not stupid enough to risk revealing my identitiy, our employee id cards are dynamically coated and perforated.

Any leaks or rumors on if rebellion is making an alien vs predator game for next gen?

It's been so long since we've had one and I needs it

(Follow up to my last post) PlayStation updated their State of Play playlist three days ago on YouTube, and on top of that Geoff Keighley has stated RE3 wont be present at The Game Awards in his latest AMA here on Reddit. While Jump Festa is possible, this is an event AFTER the TGA’s...

So maybe room for a new state of play to happen is possible?

Take this with a massive grain of salt, but we may see a new console Silent Hill soon?

Possible GTA6 Map Leak

Cities Skylines 2 rumours (with a salt)

Hello. Take this with a grain of salt, since i do not know the guy for long, but I started to get more and more into the gaming industry for a few months now and as a huge cities fan, I spoke to my new unnamed source, and he said that they are indeed working on CS 2. With some new features

  • you can build more cities in one map and the map will be three times as big. You can name them individually (like districts.)

  • there will be a “country mode” where you can add your cities together and make a country. You can make a flag, your capital city, trade with AI foreign nations.

  • best workshop ideas from community in cs 1 will be automatically in CS 2.

  • at the beginning of the game, you can choose what kind of city you want to build (european, american, middle eastern, asian) and the buildings will look like one of them

  • the source told me that they took some inspiration from “Spore”, specifficaly from Universe fase, so expect more complex trading with nations.

  • you can also add petrol stations, shopping malls, parking lots, all of various sizes, by default.

  • there will be a “EXPERT MODE” where building things, such as roads. Take 5 minutes. (Depends on what youre building) So if you build like a small roundabout. It will take around 10 minutes. However they will try to beta test it more so it doesnt feel stale.

  • i asked if theres a multiplayer, he said no,

The game should be announced late 2020

Cyberpunk 2077's Map Might Have Been Revealed In A New Art Book

ARTICLE: GAMESPOT

It's becoming more plausible that Cyberpunk 2077's map will be smaller than CD Projekt Red's previous open-world RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt--if a new art book is anything to go by. It's given us what could be our first glimpse of the tangle of streets you'll be exploring when the game launches next year.

The World of Cyberpunk 2077, a 192-page art book published by Dark Horse Books, is available now to pre-order on Amazon. The $100 Deluxe Edition, which comes with a bevy of stickers and a Johnny Silverhand poster, seemingly reveals a portion of Cyberpunk 2077's map on its cover. The game's map cuts off at the top, so it's unclear if this is where the world in-game ends or if there is more to explore beyond this point.

Now Playing: Cyberpunk 2077 Map Possibly Revealed - GS News Update

CDPR has said that Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a "denser" map than The Witcher 3, telling Gamesradar that the upcoming open-world first-person shooter might be a little smaller than the studio's previous games but is packed with much more content.

"If you look at pure surface, right--square kilometres--then Cyberpunk 2077 might be a little bit smaller than The Witcher 3," said producer Richard Borzymowski. "But when it comes to the density of content, you basically take the world of The Witcher and squeeze it right in, deleting the wilderness between this."

In other Cyberpunk 2077 news, CDPR has announced that the game will receive online multiplayer at some point after the game releases. While there's no confirmation on when multiplayer will come to Cyberpunk 2077, the studio did state in an earnings report that some form of microtransactions in the works.

Anyone heard anything about these SOCOM Rumors ?

Resident Evil 3 remake cover and screenshot was found in the PlayStation Store database

The PlayStation Store database contains the first information about the Resident Evil 3 remake, which has been rumored for about a year.
The most important, of course, were the first posters of horror, as well as product identifiers for the store.

We can say with confidence that, like the second part, the third will have two editions – standard and extended.
If the game has already been added to the PSN database, then its announcement will take place very soon, and with it the preliminary orders should start as well. Now the release of the project is expected by the end of 2020, and the announcement, apparently, will take place before The Game Awards, that is, until December 13.

This lends extra credence to the rumors of a TGA reveal/2020 release

TES 6

. There will be a sailors "guild" that involves exploring uncharted islands in the Azurian ocean and the Abecean sea. . These islands will need to be explored manually. Some of the inhabitants will need to be conquered or saved etc. There is a settlement system that ties in with it (much like fallout 4.) . Azurian Ocean is mostly procedurally generated however, that does not mean it goes on forever.

Resident Evil 3 Remake

Resident Evil 3 Remake

Capcom is working on Resident Evil 3 remake as well as Resident Evil 8 at the same time. RE3 will come first, the game is really far along and was in pre- production before the release of RE2. But due to the success of the remake, the game got more hands on deck. The game is planned to be out by Next year, late summer- to late Fall 2020. It is being drain fed for current gen consoles but will also appear on next gen. Some details about the game.

The iconic Nemesis will be a massive threat in the game. He will losses all the traits and mechanic of Mr. X from RE2 but with many more. He will be able to Run faster than the player, grappling and hitting etc, he will also be able to smash through walls. To be clear, not every wall but a good amount of the environments in RE3 are destructible by Nemesis. A big portion of the design for Nemesis was for him to be very reactionary to the player. The AI is very sophisticated, similar to Mr. X, making noises will draw his attention but Capcom is taking it to the next level this time around. He will almost toy with the player, moving around certain areas even if he knows where you are, to surprise you. He will be able to grab your around corners, grab you through certain walls if he hears you, pickup and throw things at you (debris, dead bodies), and fire his big ass rocket launcher. A new inclusion to Nemesis is a wrist mounted mini gun, he will fire it at will if your behind cover or out in the open. And, at least as of this build of the game. Save rooms won’t be save all the time from Nemesis.

Jill Valentines design also has a more modern look, as of this build she has her tank top from the original, but she also has ripped jeans and boots. The iconic Resident Evil 3 intro is now playable. As of this build, it a like a 5 minute segment where you fight off an army of the undead with your fellow officers, interestingly enough it’s in first person and when you die; you will see everything. It’s supposed to help set the tone for the game.

Carlos one of the main protagonists gets a much expanded role in this game. He won’t have scenarios but you will be able to play segments in this game where you get to see how he ended up, like his deployment in raccoon city. Think of it like an expanded 4th survivor. Mercenaries mode will return. Also, the city of raccoon city will be a bit more open. Room for a little more exploration in the streets.

Any leaks involving Kane and lynch 3?

Both 1 and 2 were quite controversial and unique IPs, especially with 2s multiplayer mode. The storyline ended on a cliffhanger with both characters alive, I see no reason as to why there shouldn’t be a Kane and lynch 3

Sony is developing an Uncharted 5

The game will serve as a soft reboot that will still take place in the same Uncharted universe but we will see Sam and Cassie Drake as the two playable characters. The planned release is Spring 2022.

Battlefield 2021 ISN'T Bad Company 3

So, before I continue writing I just wanted to make note that I am trying to acquire some harder sources and evidence to attach within this post at a date further down the line (hopefully in the coming week). Also apologies, english isn't my first language so I'm trying to write this as properly as possible so excuse any errors. Thank you.

This information comes from a recent freelance post I did, as a designer (don't want to make my job role specific incase I harm my career down the line with revealing information and what not) for a digital design agency local to me (Europe). During the time at this position, two of my coworkers were ex DICE employees, both leaving a year ago, and 3 months ago respectively. They left, apparently, not on good terms and were more willing to share their info.

So, development for BF 2021 started around 2 years ago, before BFV shipped. DICE had had both game concepts, 2021 and BFV, in early production at roughly the same time, with BFV starting before BF1 released. The initial idea was that the 2021 concept, which I'll go into in this post, would release in 2018, with the World War 2 setting being the 2021 release. However, DICE found the WW2 setting was easier to flesh out earlier down the line as the team could build on what they know from previous ww2 BF games, and from recent experience developing BF1 (WW1). The 2021 games concept and setting etc., needed a lot more time to be worked on and fleshed out, much longer needed than for BFV. EA made it clear that they had to have a 2018 Battlefield release to please shareholders and so they asked DICE to hurry BFV into development. This explained the relatively poor launch that BFV had, as a lot of development was rushed into production to hit 2018.

This is where 2021 comes in. While BFV was in late production, development on BF 2021 began. Leaks late last year, and earlier this year stated that this game, was infact, Battlefield: Bad Company 3, and those leaks for the most part were TRUE. During early development, DICE had the full intention of making this a Bad Company sequel. They actually dedicated a team to dig through the development of Bad Company 2 as EA and DICE were worried they wouldn't be able to replicate what made that game so beloved. As development furthered along, DICE started to hit a number of issues, namely that the game didn't feel like a Bad Company game, and that they couldn't get the voice actors, writers, or lead multiplayer designers back or to consult on Bad Company 3. After this, they decided to shut down production, and rework what they had developed so far into a new title. They scrapped the Bad Company idea in March/April 2019. This is why DICE have decided not to release a BF game next year.

To go into more detail about BF 2021. The game returns the series to the modern setting, being set apparently in 2030, and will feature a focus on near-future, though realistic technology. This includes drones, robotics, AI etc. Now I don't know much about the campaign or narrative, but I do know they're ditching the whole war stories set-up with this game, to tell a story more like BF3 and BF4.

In terms of multiplayer, the game will bring back a revised version of Levolution, which will require more effort to trigger, compared to BF4 where just one player could activate an event. Levolution this time round is designed to be more tactical and can vary from game to game. It's less of a scripted event, more of different actions the team has to take that can result in different outcomes. On the topic of destruction, it has been majorly improved thanks to next-gen capabilities, bullets realistically penetrate walls depending on material, leaving actual bullet holes in the geometry. Buildings can now fully collapse again, instead of just breaking apart walls, so you can chip away at foundations and load bearing walls to make the entire building come down. Destruction is also now 'material based' so a wood wall will break apart with just one explosive round, or a load of bullets while a metal or concrete wall will require a lot more damage to break open. Apparently on one map they are planning to make it so that you can destroy entire skyscrapers with jet strikes etc. Rush also returns, and Breakthrough too, with maps being designed more around Rush. Conquest will return as usual, and so will Air Assault. The usual vehicles also make an appearance, reintroducing helicopters alongside tanks, APCs, jets and buggies.

A little thing to add that i thought was interesting is that the team are trying to develop a way to crash land planes, so that your plane being shot down isn't an instant death, rather you can attempt to crash land it and escape the wreckage.

Drones and robotics make the biggest addition to vehicles, you can get UAVs that allow you to mark targets for your team from above, drones that deliver missile strikes and bombing runs, and land based drones and robots that allow you to breach buildings, disarm bombs, spot enemies.

Commander mode is planning to be brought back too.

As far as I was told, this is DICE's attempt to bring Battlefield back to it's roots, with the team taking a lot of notes from BF2 and BF3. Development is in full swing and the game is hoping to launch in holidays of 2021 for PS5, Project Scarlett and PC. I will try and answer any questions in the comments.

Sheiiit I mean whatever gives you that sense of "popularity" lmao

Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall developers working on an open world RPG with 'dungeon master AI'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw6CUVk4mn0

The Story Engine that the studio is teasing us with is smart enough to act as your human DM. It would track the repercussions of your actions across the open-world game, it would have NPCs react and respond to your character in an evolving way.

Here is what they said in the video about it:

"Julian and I have worked in multiple situations where we had to design story telling apps that would build a story around your actions. Nobody in the RPG industry as far as I know have spent the time that we have spent inside the educational industry trying to do this and we have spent a lot of time modifying prototyping and building a story engine that we think will change how an RPG is done. We want to do what it felt like when a DM would sit across from you and react to what you did.

It started in infancy at Arena and was very primitive, Daggerfall was more involved and then every once in a while, years after, it was obvious that a story engine would be needed, and it would get more advanced every time I was on educational products. At this point i've been tinkering with it on and off for a few decades. It's gotten pretty good at this point. We hope it will be able to drive stories that would simulate a real person, Dungeon Master specifically, and continually keep the player with some decent stories but also make sure that there is continuation to these stories that would affect the world in a meaningfull way and in a persistant way so there is meaning in the short term to the quests and meaning after the quest is completed. That's the idea and it looks like after all that time, the technology will be able to do something like that."

A new Spyro game is in full development and set to be released Q4 2020.

I have an inside source at toys for bob the developers for the remastered Spyro games released last year. I got back in touch with him last night and I asked him about new games he's working on and he told be they have been working on a new Spyro title since January. Im not very into the game series that much so I don't know if this translates well but it stays true to the original and there are 200 levels with some visiting old ones but with new locations. I didn't ask him much since Ive never really played any of the games so I don't know what to ask but thats all I got. It's supposed to come out the same day as ps5 also but I don't think i doubt it's exclusive to that console. Sorry if this is not real leaks idk where to post this

Splinter Cell E3 2020 and Early Build LEAK

Splinter Cell 2020 or the internal title SCX will be a BIG part of UBI E3 2020.

The game started proper development around the end of 2015. The game was initially very similar to MGSV and in fact, took a lot of inspiration from it. SCX build 1, just to keep the timeline simple to follow, was VERY ROUGH, unfinished, gameplay driven, and open world. The game had 3 decently sized open areas to mess around in. Each area was roughly twice the size of The Division 1 -if I had to compare it to something in-house. One if I remember correctly was set somewhere in Southern Asia, was supposed to focus on some abandoned city, the other in Russia, and the third in South America. Alongside the three open-world area's there was also a hub area to roam in between missions (think Motherbase from MGSV.) There were also small areas set in New York City, Tokyo, and even on an Air Force One style plane (I think?) for one-off missions. The story was incomplete at the time of SCX 1.

SCX 2 saw downgrades to the size of the open-world areas, Russia, in particular, was shrunken significantly. The gameplay was more refined by this point. There was an ongoing debate as to how equipment and weapons should be handled throughout the game. The debate was between giving players like 90% of all equipment from the start, and let them experiment with all of the toys right away OR continue the system that SC: Blacklist had in where players would gradually obtain more and more equipment, each with higher and higher levels of upgrades. The story was still thin, but had enough meat to help other departments create content for it.

SCX 3 saw the biggest changes to the game. Almost completely scrapping the open-world concept as the teams thought it was too similar to what was and what will be put out by UBI. The only open-world area left is the hub area, which actually received a lot more love and attention during this build. Lots of fun little easter eggs and nods to other franchises hidden throughout the area. Instead of massive open worlds, the team decided to shift focus back to what the series had done before, small but incredibly detailed levels. The idea of "flashback" missions was discussed, levels from previous games would be redone and brought into this game. Either under the title of flashbacks or as simulations. The bank level from Chaos Theory, in particular, was one that was talked about at length.

I do not know much past SCX 3 besides that the open-world concept was never revisited. The way equipment upgrades worked in the game was still in the air. Flashbacks/Simulation missions were integrated but they weren't labeled as such anymore. They were just changed up a bit and rebranded as completely new missions, the support staff and Sam will both make comments on how they have "deja-vu" from those missions. The story was also completed and will be a "fitting yet crazy send-off."

To finish off I just want to say that yes, SCX is planned to be the FINAL Splinter Cell title with Sam as the main character. The team wanted to make SCX a love letter to all the fans that have stayed with them for the past dozen or so years. I was personally very worried for the next splinter cell game but after hearing this it made me excited for splinter cell again. Even if they revert back to an open world, I'm just happy that they are putting time and effort into Sam's final hurrah.
//I got all of this information from word of mouth, and that's all I want to say without causing any trouble.

Rockstar are developing open-world game with medieval setting

Obligatory take with grain of salt etc etc

The source I'm getting this from has been right about GTAO DLC and RDR2 story details (before it released). Don't want to say more than that for obvious reasons.

Rockstar's next game will not be Bully 2 or GTA 6. They are developing an open world game with a medieval setting. Swordfighting/dueling will be a mechanic. Release date aimed for Q1 2021. Announcement isn't that long away.

Obviously sounds crazy and you have no reason to believe me, but as I said they have been very reliable before. I fully believe time will prove me right. Asking me anything more is pretty useless as I don't know anything other than what I've said.

2020 Quake remake for current gen consoles, windows PC and next gen consoles.

Project Scarlett information

Keeping it vague for now.

The final name has been confirmed, can't say it yet cause theres only about <25 people who actually know the name.

At the moment power wise, we're looking at the same as the PS4, slightly better though - not by a lot though, a repeat of last gen won't happen.

There will be 2 models, both @ 2TB of storage,1 model will be all digital and one will have a disc drive. They will retail at $449 and $499 respectively.

Launch titles are Forza Motorsport 8 (which is the best in the series from a development standpoint), halo infinite (despite the rumours, the game is doing fine) and a Ninja Theory RPG that is unannounced.

Right now there are 4 scheduled 2020 exclusives, 1 for each quarter to help with consistancy and help gamepass. All the bought out studios will be converted into AAA, with the initiative being AAAA. There will be a disgustingly small teaser for the fable reboot at E3, and a load of marketing deals, extra OS features (think LFG, SNAP etc.), and xcloud information with a WW open beta.

The initiative wont be on the radar till maybe 2021 with a teaser, the quality of the game they're preparing was compared to RDR2 by a load of higher ups (and Satya Nadal !)

Take this with a grain of salt please, this comes from a few different sources as well as my own information gained. Next gen will be very interesting.

AC Ragnarok Leak I just saw.

In the new AC game, there will be a setting to determine the Protagonist's weiner size. The setting will be available weather you choose a boy or a girl. There will be separate sliders for the girth & length. If you make it too long, it will hang out of your skirt/kilt & you get negative reputation points. At the longest, the head will just barely touch the ground & drag; at the girthiest, I looks to be about the size of a popcorn tin. If you walk too much while it's max length, your character will cum & he/she will be incapacitated for a few seconds. If you make it a certain size, you can use it as a weapon. You have to make it certain sizes to appeal to certain characters.

Edit: I forgot some important details.

Why fake leaks?

I wish people would just post real leaks here. I don't like looking and seeing 5 different "leaks" about assassins creed Ragnorok. Who the heck puts the time in coming up with all that crap.

Any Leaked info on a potential new mass effect game?

Ps5 Launch details.

The PS5 will launch November 2020. The price is still aimed to be accessible to all consumers while providing a power console. The projected price for the system is 500$. The system is all about the past for Sony, as it is the future. Which is why it will be backwards compatible with all Playstation 4 games, PS2 games, and PS1 games. It will be backwards compatible with some a lot of PS3 games but as you all know due to that systems Cell Architecture. It complicated things. But, most of the first party PS3 titles that weren’t remastered/remade will be available right away, and of course a good amount of popular third party titles. The system will have marketing buzzwords such as “play right away, download just what you need, no load times, and the all in one PlayStation”. The system will also be a little more open to the consumers. For example, players will be able to download custom themes from third party applications like the PS3, the system will launch with a much overhauled Share factory. With custom layouts/live-streaming and video editing tools made by a third party, and green screen support. It will also incorporate features and tools from Sony’s Vegas Pro software. It will be more compatible with more Bluetooth headsets as a side note. The game will launch with Gran Turismo 7, Socom reboot, Demon souls. As well as SIE japan is working on a more family friendly game for the PS5 launch. Sony is also in touch with a lot of indie developers, securing early access deals and exclusivity deals for launch. As well, all PS4 exclusive games from 2018 and on will receive a Ps5 enhancement patch. You’ll also have your Your expected launch games like the Black ops reboot, Ubisoft’s Rainbow 6: Quarantine And more. Sony will push their PlayStation now and PlayStation Plus services as well, plus members will be be given access to their free games a month and game(s) given to them from Sony’s legacy titles. Like a game from the PS2 era as part of ps plus. The PlayStation store will receive an overhaul, allowing new features like gifting and more. There were even talks of a digital trade in system, not sure where the conversation has landed. Sony aims to take the generation again with the PlayStation 5.

New rumors about Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok

There is another rumor in the network about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed, which will be released in autumn 2020.

The source of this rumor is supposedly a developer from Ubisoft. He reports that the action Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok (according to rumors, this is how the new part will be called) will take place in the early 1000s, and one of the main themes of the game will be the conversion of the Norwegian population to Christianity.

  • The game takes place in the early 1000s;
  • The main character – the Danish Viking. This time you can only play for a man;
  • The game card will include Denmark, southern Sweden, and Norway, as well as partly Ireland and England;
  • The main political events are devoted to the Saxon kingdoms;
  • The developer claims that Ireland and Norway are his favorite regions, and quests will be very interesting. In one of them, the player will be looking for missing children who have fallen into a manhole. This task will be somehow related to Celtic folklore;
  • In another quest the hero will climb the mountain in Norway and see Odin;
  • One of the main writers of the game is Darby McDevitt, who wrote the story for Black Flag;
  • The game will feature many famous Viking personalities. One of them is the Supreme King of Ireland, Brian Boru. Although Boru has a grudge against the Scandinavians, he infiltrates the protagonist and even treats him like a father.

It’s worth noting that a couple of days ago, other information about Assassin’s Creed came up online: it said that the game would still have a gender selection.

Assassin's Creed Ragnarok info

There's a lot of crap being said on the next AC these few days, so let's tell real stuff for once.

Game is indeed to be called Ragnarok, and set during the Viking era, during the first invasion of England (9th century)

Will probably be revealed during the sony event in february

Map will include Scandinavia and part of England, with London as big city, as well as some english counties.

There is the choice between a male protagonist and a female protagonist, but this doesn't change the plot. Both are called Jora. Protagonist went to England during the invasion and goes back to Scandinavia later, after he became an assassin.

Game begins during battle of Linsdifrane, where you raid an island and invade a castle.

Your protagonist has a very strong link with gods, especially Odin. There are often visions of him, and of Asgard.

The First Civilization plot will be further expanded in this game, with a lot of norse gods being part of the game, as well as Yggdrasil and realms.

Combat system brings back shields and you can use longswords or big axes. Heavy weapons in general.

Naval gameplay is here purely for exploration or in battles. You cant fight on sea.

There are still big battles as in Odyssey, where you raid islands and take the control. You must then control them and try to keep them yours, because they can be attacked.

There are still superpowers abilities.

Dialogue choices are still in the game

You can recruit a lot of NPCs to join the assassins, like you did in AC Brotherhood

You still have a pet bird to scan the map but not an eagle anymore. Instead it's a raven.

You play as the ancestor of Osto Berg, hostage of the assassins. Some old characters come back, but present day isn't a big part of the game.

Is Valve developing a non-VR single player game?

I remember seeing leaks about a project called "Citadel" months ago. Will valve release a non-vr single player game?

Spawn Wave confirms that Resident Evil 3 remake is in active development and targeting a 2020 release date

What are Rockstars Next projects?

Supposedly Rockstar is working on two projects from all the leakers I've seen or talked to. GTA 6 is inevitable because of how much success from 5. The other has to be a L.A. Noire sequel. Why would you remaster it for PS4,switch, PC, and Xbox one and also come out with a VR component for PC and Psvr.

Bethesda's new IP Starfield is experiencing significant development problems.

so as it comes as little surprise the catastrophe of Fallout 76 has caused much inner turmoil over at bethesda, both in terms of its publishing arm and developers. Todd Howard is seemingly more absent in starfields creation, as he now has to oversee multiple projects at once, blades, 76, starfield. etc.

the only info i was told tech wise, is the creation engines' cell based loading system causes significant frame hiccups when trying to incorporate fast moving vehicles. a key point of this game is supposedly space flight in some aspect, so things are not looking too good at the moment.

additionally i hear that having multiple "bethesda game studios" locations has been really bad for general team cohesion.

thats all for now.

What is Guerilla Games Working on? Any ideas would be awesome.

First it was Horizon Zero Dawn 2, then it was new Killzone and now it is a New Socom. Is it possible for them to be working on all three.

Will Sly 5 be on PS5 at this point? Did any one find any news/leaks regarding Sly Cooper? I don’t know if I’m in the right sub for this question?

Crash Bandicoot Worlds

https://imgur.com/a/Atg9sJg

The mask in the video "It's Time To Play" and that Crash Bandicoot render in the bus posters come from the new game coming in 2020. The game, which was initially known as "CRASH8" bears the title of "Crash Bandicoot Worlds". The game will introduce three new masks: the lunar mask, the sun mask, the eclipse mask. Crash will travel around the planet Earth in a semi-open world, similar to Mario 3D World. There will be new enemies, such as a hybrid cat-frog, a rhino, a wombat and a rapper monkey.

The game is developed by Toys For Bob and Vicarious Visions, and since October have started showing it behind closed doors, the announcement will be in December 2019.

AC: Kingdom leak I saw on /v/

Obviously there's a lot of these going around so take with the grain. This one claimed to be a Dev and appeared fairly knowledgeable

  1. Game is set In the early 1000's.
  2. You play as a Danish Viking. You can only play as a man this time round. There is no female protagonist in this title.

  3. Game map is Denmark, southern Sweden and Norway and parts of Ireland and England.

  4. Main poitical scene is in the Saxon Kingdoms. Dev said it is interesting.

  5. Dev claimed thus far Ireland and Norway are his favourite regions to explore. The quests there are interesting. One in Ireland has you searching for missing children down a well and it evolves into a Celtic folklore mystery quest. Another has the protagonist climbing a mountain in Norway and he sees apparitions of Odin (isu?)..

  6. Darby is one of the main writers and has a love of Irish history so he squeezed many notable Viking age folks from the Irish theatre of Norse campaigns in. Of note the Irish High King Brian Boru plays a major role and despite his dislike of the Norse he becomes fond of the protagonist, serving a father like role. Team love him and call him ''Brian Bro-ruma''.

A big theme is change and many Norse are converting to Christianity at this time and Norse power is dwindling.

That's all, it should be in the /v/ archive..

New Half Life game (VR) will be announced on Wednesday.

Got it from a close source (im gonna call him Jim) who has been working on the project for a while (also been in Valve for sometime, but he is not known publicly) and I known him for a few months.

So basically, the announcement is coming on Wednesday.

I asked in what form, Jim told me that he isnt 100% sure, but he heard rumours in the office that trailer was ready, however he said that Valve keeps changing their minds on how to announce the product.

I asked 1 if its a continuation of Episode 2, and he said its a VR continuation but also a separate thing. I asked him what the hell does that mean?

He said - “Its weird to explain, because theres a new game mechanic that wasnt really explored in any game before”

I asked him if hes 100% sure about Wednesday announcement. He said that Valve wanted to announce the game 4 times over the last 5 months but always postponed it because of reasons. They wouldnt discuss the reasons with the whole team, only high positioned individuals. He said if the wednesday announcement wont come, its gonna be because they want it to be perfect, however he said its very likely on Wednesday.

I also asked him if Its gonna be VR only, he said they worked on both nonvr and VR versions.

Fingers crossed.

Also, created a new account because of course im gonna create a new account im not stupid :P.

MAFIA IV Massive Leak + MAFIA II Remaster (UPDATE #1)

So after my initial post, I reached out to my sources and started asking some questions which I got. This post will delve further into the gameplay systems.

Now, it's worth noting that the two of my "developer sources" left the studios a while back, one left earlier this year when a mass number did, and the other left fairly recently. So keep in mind that things could and probably WILL change through the next couple years of development on M4.

I won't discuss M2 Remastered here as I have NO further details on that project.

I won't discuss much, if any, of the narrative, as I barely know anything, nor do I want to. Hate story spoilers myself.

  • Game will be about you gaining control of Vegas, will be a sprawling story about crime, love and greed.
  • You'll be able to choose your crew, you can put hits out on people, store owners who refuse to cough up any protection money, etc.
  • If you have a high heat level, cops will pull you over and give you tickets just for driving past them (targeted harassment etc. for being bad).
  • Cops pull you over for speeding, running red lights etc.
  • Game will have a "reputation system" which will influence how NPCs react to you. If you decide to run your crime empire fair and less brutal, people will be more keen to approach you and be nice in the streets, offer you tips about jobs nearby etc, however if you're a nasty piece of shit who constantly kills and murders recklessly, people will avoid you and cross the sidewalk when you approach, this system is similar to the one handled in MAFIA 3 where white women in rich districts would avoid Lincoln, just expanded here and reflective on your gameplay choices.
  • If you have high enough reputation, cops might think twice about pulling you over out of fear, so you can speed more and commit less larger-crimes such as muggings.
  • You can smash up and destroy opposing Casinos.
  • Sex and head in your penthouse suite.
  • Minigames in the Casinos.
  • Motorbikes.
  • New Animation technology to give the game world more life.
  • Their driving animations are said to be super detailed, realistic and responsive to player input while still looking on point.

More MINOR details to follow soon.....

Any questions, ask and I'll try to answer.

Assassin's Creed Ragnarok info

Guess you all know about the next Assassin's Creed and it's Viking setting, so here's a bunch of infos about it.

The game was codenamed kingdom but now is called Ragnarok. Release fall 2020 on both old and new gen. Reveal during the playstation event on feb. Viking setting, c. 800 BC. Map includes Scandinavia and a big part of England, including London and Plimouth. Choice between a woman and a man, but there's no impact on the story, that is the same. Protagonist, woman or male, is called Jora, and become an Assassin during the game. Brotherhood system is back, with recruitable npcs. You can still use a boat to travel on sea, but there's less naval combat than black flag or Odyssey imo. Story-wise, the game is focused on a revenge quest, with a big part of first civilization story. Realms like asgard or Jottuneim can be visited in the game, mythical beigs such as Odin or Loki play a big part in the story, as well as the Ygdrassil. Game has a present day part but, as much as Origins or Odyssey. It will conclude the present day storyline. gameplay is the same as odyssey, with improved mechanics and further rpg elements

Socom online PS5 launch title

Developed Guerrilla games 2nd team. It’s planned to be a PS5 launch title and a big forward step into the competitive multiplayer genre for Sony. Production began from Guerrilla games in mid-late 2017. The game is very true to the older Socom game. A hard/punishing tactical team shooter. The game is very authentic to the Military/navy seal, real life weapon sounds recorded, navy seal collaborators brought in, and a heavy use of photogrammetry. Just to clarify, the game will be realistic but not military sim territory, fun is still the priority for the game. The game, like the originals will be very competitive and requires a lot of skill and patience. All maps in the game not only destructive and Dynamic but also change. Maps have a unique weather/day and night cycle changing the way players will have to player and adapt. For example, it was described to me ass such, if you shoot out a specific light source for the rest of the match is rendered useless and can no longer be used. All weapons in the game are projectile, not hit-scan meaning you have to adjust for distance and wind effects. Bullets have entry/exit wounds on surfaces in real time. This game also has a very unique damage system, or bullet penetration system. All damage in the game is dynamic, hitting different parts of the body does different things to the enemy. For example, getting shot in the knee while damage the player but also slow them down permanently until they are patched up by a healer. This also applies to different parts of the body such as the bullet resistant vests, getting shot by a high enough caliber bullet will might now damage the solder per say but now their vests is useless and further damage will do so. Getting shot in the head, 99% will kill you, but getting shot by a low caliber pistol while you have a helmet on might just damage the player instead, depending on the bullet shot distance and angle. Players will also be able to peak/mount their guns on surfaces and doors, and also to turn on/off light switches etc. the game will feature and in depth weapon customization system, with dozens of option for attachments, grips etc for each gun. This customization also goes into a class system for characters. For example, you can choose to be a medic, riot control, a dedicated sniper, demolition, mechanic and more. Each not only will come with unique weapons but also talents/ perks for the team. For example, the demolition will come with a Grenade launcher, and extra ammo for his team. But they are also the slowest moving class. Every class has their own trades offs, keeping any one class form being too powerful/ becoming a power fantasy. The goal was always to make your team feel like a unit, no one superpower but all working together. The game was described to me as being online focused, but there is a single player. Not a traditional story campaign but a set of unique challenging missions meant to test the player in different situations. There are another set of missions which are co-op, requires a lot of team coordination. Very challenging and difficult but rewarding. Also a pvp/pve mode was described as pitting players against other players and AI at once. On a side note, the game will take full advantage of the PlayStation 5’s Ray traced Audio, allowing for precise sound anticipation form bullet sounds and footsteps and even debris. Also the haptic feedback is really neat, shooting for a long time like a LMG, the bumper will tighten more and more ass the less ammo you having in your magazine/clip increases. This will almost stall or harden the bumper until you reload or find a new gun with bullets, pretty interesting.

Any news on what's coming at X019 tomorrow?

Been hearing we're getting RAGE2 in gamepass, a new Obsidian IP + a new Rare IP but I'm wondering if anyone has any more information about either of those games, or the show in general.

Guerilla Games developing a reboot of SOCOM for the PS5?

MAFIA IV Massive Leak + MAFIA II Remaster

I have three separate sources confirming this. Two of them former developers for Hangar 13, one of them being a journalist. They are very reputable, obviously I can't reveal who they are, nor shall I, as I wish not to hurt their career or cause any legal issues. If that makes my credibility lower, then so be it.

Anyway, let's get into it.

As some of you may already know - MAFIA IV started prototyping stages of development right after MAFIA III wrapped up its DLC season, however as it was reported, the project was "cancelled" or "passed on" by Hangar 13 management in favour of an original IP (all reported and confirmed).

After development on their "original project" wasn't gaining any traction, they decided to assemble a small unit which then became Hangar 13 in Brighton, UK. This team, according to my two developer sources, picked up their original MAFIA IV pitches and prototypes and hit the ground running. After a good 5-6 months of internal struggles, they decided that the project was ambitious and something they wished to pursue, now, every branch (aside from the Czech Republic, I'll get to that) are working on MAFIA IV.

The game, according to my two developer sources and journalist, will indeed be set in 70s Vegas and continue on from where MAFIA III left off. You will play as a new protagonist and it will return to you playing as the Italian Mob in Vegas' golden years of organised crime. Said to be very "Scorsese-esque" whatever that means.

The game will feature a huge map to traverse of course, the story will span a decade according to one of my developer sources, the other developer claims that this was initially not the case as they wanted to continue the documentary style of MAFIA III's storytelling at first, but instead will be a more traditional "now" story with no flashbacks or interviews ahead of the events.

I'm not sure if any characters will return - I never asked this, unfortunately, although I would expect Vito to make an appearance at the very least.

Gone are the repetitive missions from MAFIA III. They know they fucked up there. Apparently the story behind that is a bit murky. The game (MAFIA III) originally allowed you to go straight for the racket bosses, each with unique encounters and deaths, and not have to do the repetitive filler stuff, but as the release date loomed over the developers, the producers were pressuring them to get it shipped and had to make some quality drawbacks.

Many planned mechanics for MAFIA III have made their way into MAFIA IV, one of which being an empire building system, far more in depth than anything I've heard of in any game before. It's insane the stuff they plan with this. One of my sources was telling me of how you can literally build, buy out, and expand casinos, you can take a rundown building and turn it into a metropolis.

It'll be on a new version of the MAFIA II/III engine, massively overhauled, many of the technical issues that plagued M3 should now be mostly non-existent apparently.

Motion capture began on the game about 8-9 months ago. Expected to be revealed next year, with a 2021 release, next gen obviously.

Now then, MAFIA II Remaster - yes, this is a thing and it's coming sooner than you think. Not sure when, but they said "SOON" (TM) - Hangar 13's Czech branch is working on this, it's a complete overhaul and uses the MAFIA IV engine. Think RE2 Remake levels.

Any questions, ask. I'll try and answer what I can - I understand if you don't believe me, but we'll all be here when the game is announced so yeah :)

P.S: This is a throwaway account obviously - don't want any legal repercussions to hit me :D
