Now that the dust has settled regarding the sequel to our much loved franchise, I can now explain what really occurred.
Bully 2 was set for 2020 release and due to work on our other projects it was suspended numerous times, production began in 2011 however dedication to this project was never really present. I will touch on this further on in the post.
We did however produce a playable version of the game and QA testing was set for 2018 however it never really got off the ground since then. The demand from higher ups to pledge full attention on RDR2 increased, this left Bully 2 untouched for months and to ensure release was successful it was once again suspended.
After the release many staff including myself were exhausted and this coupled with the already toxic work environment, lead out superiors to suspend the project indefinitely.
Here our expectations are high and releasing a frankly lacklustre and half a**** game wasn’t an option.
I understand this is far from the news you were all expecting but this simply is a reality. Our sincerest apologies.
