First of all, I am not a Rockstar Games Insider and I am not forcing anyone to believe what I am going to say, because I am myself unsure if all of this is true. I discovered some potential GTA VI rumors from an unknown source, these details where apparently from a Rockstar Games employee, he said that he didn’t work on anything GTA VI related, but that he heard so,e conversations at work about GTA VI. now right now to be honest, I am pretty skeptical on what he said, but I decided to post it here because some of these infos seems pretty interesting :
- GTA VI have been in production for 5 years by now, which I guess means around 2015
- GTA VI is set in South Florida, the employee wasn’t able to tell me when the game was set, but that it seemed to be set after GTA V, with a section of the game being a flashback in the late 1980s, he also claimed that Vice City will have two neighborhood cities which are supposed to be Cottonmouth (Tampa) alongside with a city that seems to be La Havana, the capital of Cuba
- GTA VI will have two protagonist, they have a very detailed story and each have there own distinctive personality, apparently none of them will be as degenerated as Trevor from GTA V, they will instead be a bit like past characters we saw in the franchise.
- The realism of the game have been greatly improved over GTA IV and RDR2, some features from past games such as GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas notably have been added into the game. Such as RPG elements and a greater range of customization.
- There will be over at least 100 missions in the game, with a lot of side missions and a lot of properties to buy and enterable interiors.
- He didn’t give me too much details on the story, but it will apparently involve some drug and weapons smuggling missions from Cuba to South Florida, there will also be missions where we will make deals, ambush deals and another part where it will be basic GTA formula where we will work for different peoples and organizations and there will be a new system where we can actually decide to be loyal or betray the characters and or organizations, which will affect the end of the story and also the free roam with gangs possibly attacking you until you go and kill the leader of said gang. There will also be missions where we will steal, customize and smuggle vintage and sports cars.
That’s all he had to say, I do believe some of what he said as it seems legit and very likely from Rockstar, but there is other things where I am unsure, I am not forcing anybody to believe this and I just wanted to share these infos. He said I could share this but that he wants to stay anonymous as he doesn’t want to end up in trouble.
