QA testing information for Project America’s.

Now in spite of recent so called rumours regarding this title frustration is soaring exponentially, which is understandable.

To address these rumours and include some relevancy. My dear friend who is currently employed as a QA tester at R* Games recently shared some information which I believe he will be elaborating on further in the coming days( not sure on what platform).

The information he shared of course I cannot confirm personally confirm so please do not cast me to the role as this is simply being relayed. I am unsure as to how long he has been employed at R* as until now he has not uttered a word however he is currently employed out of R* Lincoln if this is familiar please do say.

Directly from his dm, he states that his QA testing along with others was held on a PS5 devkit(any further info on what this is would be appreciated), and that production for this game began in 2015 after the release of Gta 5 on the pc. But full production didn’t begin until 2016 as he states around the time when marketing began for RDR2. I apologise as I’m not very clued up about gaming lol.

He states that the version he experienced contained 2 cities; Carcer City and vice city with supposed non-playable areas as well, however he didn’t play any missions so he couldn’t find out what these areas were. There are 2 characters to cycle between however he emphasised this part that because of the games beta state again pls explain there were no character names just basic models.

For the map he states there are 2 cities separated by marsh land, rural areas some sort of fictional Florida keys and a very large interstate type roadway. He states he hopes more is added as transitioning between the main cities is dull as the areas separating are vast. There will be an emphasis on a fast travel system which will be option apparently also a lot of air travel as well.

Carcer is supposed to be very shady like a run down city vibe, many deserted buildings with smog filling the air. Vice City is vibrant pooping with brilliant colour contrasts and greenery.

This is all he sent me as apparently the version he played was pretty basic, I apologise if this is vague however I know nothing about this and his dm was way too long to post here. I’m not a huge gaming fan however I have heard a lot about this game from social media.
