I'm not sure where this was originally posted since I got it from a Discord server.
Supposedly the sole reason behind the elusive deal was that Randy Pitchford, who is the CEO of Gearbox, gets a bigger bonus from this deal. He also allegedly creates a toxic and stressful work environment by yelling and screaming.
The most worrying thing though is this sentence: "Everything you loved about Borderlands 1&2 is nonexistent in 3."
That's pretty worrying, good thing that I get an extra year after launch to read reviews and see what that means.
However it seems that an internal rebellion has occurred, and somebody has stolen a build of the game and will upload it to Pirate Bay in 4 weeks if their demands are not met. They want maximum 40 hour weeks instead of the 50+, they want Randy to stop being such a tyrant and to seek anger management.
Regardless this is an anon post and can't be confirmed if real, so don't trust it as true, but don't also dismiss it as false. This could be a big thing.
